During the main story of this game, your Skell options are limited. However, once you complete Chapter 12 of the main story, you unlock several new Skell designs. The first of those is the Formula Zero Skell, a level 60 light Skell, the strongest of the Formula ST family of Skells.

In order to unlock the schematics for the Formula Zero Skell, all you need to do is finish Chapter 12 of the main story, with no extra requirements. But while the process for unlocking the schematics may be relatively simple, the process of getting the necessary materials certainly isn’t.

The following materials are required to create the Formula Zero Skell.

Material

Amount

How to obtain

Rexoskell Suckers

3

These are intergalactic tier materials dropped by the Rexoskell enemy, who can only be fought via the time attack mission Gone Berserk.

You can unlock this time attack mission by completing the normal mission Definian Downfall. You can also purchase these materials from the material market for 475 tickets each.

Crude Neilnail Mask

2

These are intergalactic tier materials dropped by the enemies Neilnail Albus and Neilnail Furvus, who can be fought via the time attack mission Twin Dolls of Mystery.

You can unlock this time attack mission by completing Chapter 12 of the main story. You can also purchase these materials from the material market for 475 tickets each.

Xe-dom Crimson Crest

2

These are prime tier materials dropped by the tyrant Du-rha, the Imprisoned in Sylvalum’s Quay Hollows.

To get there, fly over the southern wall of Sylvalum and land on the rock formation sticking out from the side. This leads into a cave where, upon taking the first left, you’ll find your tyrant. You can also purchase these materials from the material market for 200 tickets each.

Ancient Armor

5

These are unique tier materials dropped by Xe-doms all across Mira.

Xe-doms are most commonly found patroling Sylvalum and Cauldros, but can also be found rarely in other regions as well. You can also purchase these materials from the material market for 75 tickets each.

Advanced Crank

4

These are unique tier materials dropped by Seidrs in Sylvalum and Cauldros.

You can find them most commonly around Ganglion camps and in the skies of Cauldros. You can also purchase these materials for 75 tickets each.

Xe-dom Hand

6

These are unique tier materials dropped by Xe-doms all across Mira.

They are slightly more common than the aforementioned Ancient Armors, but are dropped by the same enemies in the same locations. You can also purchase these materials from the material market for 75 tickets each.

Ouroboros Crystal

2

These are prime tier precious resources that can be obtained through FrontierNav.

To obtain these, place any tier of mining probe on one of the following sites: FN Site 308, FN Site 309, and FN Site 320.

Miranium

10,000

Miranium is mined automatically by placing mining probes across Mira through FrontierNav. You will also need to place a few storage probes in order to have enough storage to hold 10,000 Miranium in the first place.

Once you’ve obtained all the requisite materials, simply head back to the AM Manager in Armory Alley, select the Develop New Gear option, and the Formula Zero Skell will be the first option when you hit Skell Frames.
