If you want to create the Lailah Queen Skell, you’ll need many materials. Here is the full list and how to find them in Xenoblade Chronicles X: DE.

Compared to other Skells, the Verus Cain has one trait that sets it apart: the bunny ears at the top of its head. It also comes with some of the best Skell weapons as well. This guide will detail how to obtain all the necessary materials to create the Verus Cain for yourself.

Material List For The Verus Cain

The creation menu for the Verus Cain Skell in Xenoblade Chronicles X: Definitive Edition.

First and foremost, to unlock the ability to create your own Verus Cain, you must complete Chapter 12 of the main story. Doing that will unlock several different Skell Frames that you can develop using the AM Manager console in Armory Alley, including the Verus Cain.

Here’s a list of all the materials you will need in order to create the Verus Cain Skell.

Material

Amount

How To Obtain

Rexoskell Sucker

5

These items only drop from an enemy known as the Rexoskell, who you can only fight through the time attack mission Gone Berserk. You can unlock this mission by completing the normal mission Definian Downfall.

Crude Neilnail Mask

2

These items are only dropped by the enemies Neilnail Albus and Neilnail Furvus, who you can fight via the time attack mission Twin Dolls of Mystery. This time attack mission becomes available upon completing Chapter 12 of the main story.

Xe-dom Golden Crest

4

These materials are dropped by Golden Xe-dom enemies, who can be found fairly frequently in Cauldros. The tyrant enemy Gi-zho, the Iron Deity, also drops them.

Ancient Armor

3

These materials are dropped by all Xe-dom enemies across Mira. The most easily accessible place you can find these enemies are the silver ones roaming around Sylvalum.

Advanced Crank

6

These materials are dropped by Seidr enemies that can be found in Sylvalum and Cauldros. In particular, Seidrs in Sylvalum tend to be found near Ganglion outposts, while in Cauldros they can be found patrolling the skies.

Xe-dom Hand

1

These materials, much like the previously listed Ancient Armor, are also dropped by all Xe-dom enemies across Planet Mira.

Ouroboros Crystal

2

These precious resources can only be obtained via placing mining probes on FN Sites 308, 309, and 320 through FrontierNav.

Miranium

10,000

As you place more probes across the map, you will automatically begin mining Miranium. You can increase this amount by placing more mining probes, and you can increase your storage capacity by placing storage probes.

If you don’t want to spend a lot of time grinding for these material drops, every item on this list aside from the Ouroboros Crystals and Miranium can be bought from the Material Market. This would cost a grand total of 4,875 material tickets if you were to obtain every material this way.

Once you’ve obtained all the necessary materials, simply head back over to the AM Manager in Armory Alley, select Develop New Gear followed by Skell Frames, and you should see the Verus Cain listed as the third option from the top.
