There is a wide variety of different Skell types in Xenoblade Chronicles X: Definitive Edition, each one having a unique specialty to separate it from the others. Like many of the level 60 Skells in this game, the Mastema White Reaper schematic is unlocked automatically after completing Chapter 12 of the main story. All the materials necessary to craft it are also available at this point, but that doesn’t mean crafting this Skell is going to be easy.

The following materials are required in order to create the Mastema White Reaper Skell.

Material

Amount

How to obtain

Rexoskell Sucker

2

An intergalactic material dropped by the Rexoskell enemy during the time attack mission Gone Berserk.

You must have completed the normal mission Definian Downfall to unlock the corresponding time attack mission.

Crude Neilnail Mask

1

This one is dropped by the Neilnail Albus and Neilnail Furvus in the time attack mission Twin Dolls of Mystery.

Xe-dom Jet-Black Crest

3

A prime material dropped by Black Xe-doms across Mira. You can find Black Xe-doms in two places: the floating island to the west of Talon Rock Third Terrane, and by FN Site 322 in Oblivia.

Ancient Armor

5

A unique material that can be obtained by defeating Xe-doms across Mira. They can be found most commonly from the patroling Xe-doms in Sylvalum.

Advanced Crank

6

Another unique material dropped by Seidrs in Sylvalum and Cauldros. They can be found near Ganglion camps in Sylvalum and in the skies of Cauldros.

Xe-dom Hand

6

This material can be found after defeating Xe-doms across Mira, just like the aforementioned Ancient Armors.

Ouroboros Crystal

2

A prime precious resource that can be mined from FN Sites 308, 309, and 320 by placing mining probes on those sites through FrontierNav.

Miranium

10,000

Miranium is mined automatically through mining probes, though storage probes are required to have enough storage space for 10,000 Miranium.

You can also use material tickets to purchase everything, aside from the Ouroboros Crystals and Miranium, from the material market. You’ll need 3,300 material tickets to have every needed item.

Once you’ve obtained all the necessary materials to craft this Skell, simply head over to Armory Alley and go to the Develop New Gear menu at the AM Manager console, then select Skell Frames. The Mastema White Reaper will be the sixth option from the top.
