Xenoblade Chroncles X’s Mira is a dangerous planet, and even getting some water can lead to your death.

With all the different stats and customization options present for Skells in this game, you may be inclined to go for a jack-of-all-trades kind of Skell. For those players, the Lailah Queen Skell is the perfect fit. This guide will detail how to obtain all the materials necessary to craft your own Lailah Queen Skell.

Material List For The Lailah Queen Skell

The creation menu for the Lailah Queen Skell in Xenoblade Chronicles X: Definitive Edition.

After completing Chapter 12 of the main story, you’ll unlock seven Skell designs that are level 60 versions of the Skells that have been available in the shop up until that point, including the Lailah Queen Skell.

Unlike those Skells, however, the Lailah Queen and its ilk require you to go out and salvage your own materials to create it from scratch.

Here is a list of every material necessary to create the Lailah Queen Skell, and where to find them.

Material

Amount

How to obtain

Rexoskell Sucker

3

These materials are dropped by an enemy called the Rexoskell, who only appears in the time attack mission Gone Berserk. To unlock this, you must complete the quest Definian Downfall.

Crude Neilnail Mask

2

You can obtain this by defeating Neilnail Albus and Neilnail Furvus, who appear in the time attack mission known as Twin Dolls of Mystery.

This time attack mission unlocks after you complete Chapter 12 of the main story, so you should be able to access it if you are looking to craft this Skell.

Xe-dom Silver Crest

6

These materials can only be obtained by defeating Silver Xe-doms in Sylvalum. In particular, you’re going to want to look for the Molybdenum Xe-doms and Bismuth Xe-doms patrolling around Sylvalum.

There is also a Silver Xe-dom tyrant in Noctilum known as Go-rha, the Guardian Diety.

Ancient Armor

1

These materials drop from any Xe-dom enemy across all of Mira. The easiest place to find wild Xe-doms is in the open plains of Sylvalum, where they often patrol around.

They will only act aggressively towards you if you are piloting a Skell, otherwise, they will ignore you.

Advanced Crank

4

Defeat Seidr enemies in both Sylvalum and Cauldros. In Sylvalum, these enemies appear near Ganglion camps, while in Cauldros, they appear all throughout the skies of the region.

Xe-dom Hand

5

These materials, much like the previously mentioned Ancient Armor, can be dropped from any enemy Xe-dom across all Mira.

Ouroboros Crystal

2

These materials can be found in Oblivia, but only by mining them through FrontierNav. In particular, place mining probes on FN Site 308, FN Site 309, and FN Site 320 to mine as many Ouroboros Crystals as you need to craft this Skell or any others.

Miranium

10,000

By placing down mining probes across Mira via FrontierNav, you’ll automatically mine Miranium as you go about completing quests and exploring the world.

However, be sure that you have a few storage probes placed down to make sure that you can hold the amount of Miranium you need to create this Skell.

If you don’t want to spend a lot of time grinding for these materials by defeating enemies across the map, you can also purchase all of these materials. Aside from those obtained through FrontierNav, you can use the material market. If you choose to use this method, it will cost a grand total of 4,325 material tickets.

After you’ve obtained all the materials you need, head over to the AM Manager in Armory Alley and select Develop New Gear. If you then select the Skell Frames option, you should see the Lailah Queen Skell is the fourth option from the top.
