A creative Destiny 2 player has showcased an impressive fashion design inspired by the lead protagonist of the popular game Hollow Knight. Destiny 2 was launched back in 2017 and became an instant fan favorite, receiving a slew of awards and building a loyal fanbase of players taking on the role of Guardians, superpowered warriors with a mission to defend humanity from a full-blown alien invasion. The popular sci-fi FPS shares many similarities with Hollow Knight, including silent lead characters and the eternal struggle between light and darkness. Now, one creative fan has united the two games by creating an impressive Hollow Knight-inspired fashion within Destiny 2.

Destiny 2 is the second mainline installment in the franchise, and for many, it has eclipsed the massively popular original game, which is often credited with being one of the first titles to successfully blend the MMO gaming experience with the FPS genre. While the game’s developer, Bungie, has faced its share of problems recently, including mass layoffs, Destiny 2 remains popular with its legions of fans. A Reddit user named iixVanquishxXX recently shared a creative Hollow Knight recreation crafted in Destiny 2. The fashion is based on the game’s lead protagonist, known simply as the Knight, and mirrors many elements of the character’s trademark appearance, complete with the signature white horned mask and simple cloak wrapped around the neck and upper torso. The user also included an image detailing how the Knight was built using Destiny 2’s customization options.

Armor options in Destiny 2 are quite expansive, allowing players to personalize their Guardian builds with custom combinations to shape both their look and performance in the game. To create the Hollow Knight-inspired character, the player used the Iron Intent Cover Legendary Helmet to mimic the horned mask of the knight, along with multiple other armor selections to replicate the rest.

Hollow Knight has a strong roster of interesting characters, with the Knight being the only playable character in the game. Players control him to explore the vast world of Hallownest while battling enemies to uncover the secrets of the kingdom. With the next installment in the series originally announced in 2019, many fans are eagerly awaiting its highly anticipated release. However, it’s not known if the Knight featured in the user’s creation will make a return in the upcoming game.

While an official release date for Hollow Knight: Silksong has yet to materialize, the follow-up to the beloved original is expected sometime in 2025. For now, it seems some fans are pouring their anticipation for the upcoming title into impressive recreations in other games.
