We Need More Games Like Kingdom Come Deliverance 2
Warhorse has created a masterful sequel where its medieval world is your oyster.
However, there are also several hidden features in the game that not everyone has yet come across. Of course, there are buffs and such that certain items or crafting can give you, but this latest feature is actually a bit more fun. It turns out that if you throw a stone at a waterbody, Henry will be able to skip it.
Don’t Skip This Skipping Feature
Skipping stones is up there on the list of universal men’s pastimes along with finding cool sticks and fantasizing about making heroic rescues. The events of Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 have shown that Henry is no different from any other guy, so if he’s going to find a pond, he’s going to skip a rock over it.
As pointed out by a player on Reddit, while throwing stones is usually meant to distract enemies and even knock nests off trees, tossing one at a pond will result in it skipping, However, it skips only once, so Henry isn’t really that great at it. Maybe he needs to find a better stone, or maybe he’s too hungry to do it properly.
Surprised by learning of this new feature, one comment said it would be great if “you had a minigame for this, adjusting the arm and throw. Yeah you might think I’m crazy, but really, would you be surprised at this stage if there was one?” I certainly would not be surprised at this point.
Criticizing Henry’s form, another comment said, “Ah, yes, because stone skipping indeed works by just lobbing stones at water without any kind of specific throwing motion required. Don’t get me wrong, this is cool. I just found it funny how Henry manages to get any skips like that.”
It seems the medieval land of Bohemia has a lot of hidden secrets that still need to be found.
