Here is how the new mode Battle Royale Casual works in Warzone Season 3.

With Verdansk back as the main battle royale map, it has once again become the go-to destination for every player out there. That means knowing where to drop first and what some ideal landing spots are is more important than ever if you want to grab the best loot and stack up cash early in the match to give yourself an advantage and ultimately secure the win.

Boneyard

Boneyard location on the map - bo6

Boneyard is a decent landing spot if the safe zone happens to be located in that direction, and it sits on the western edge of the map. It’s a large, scattered area filled with wreckage and debris, making it an interesting place to drop at the start of the match.

There are tons of crates and loot scattered throughout this section, which is exactly what you want when you’re trying to gear up early and gain the upper hand before running into too many fights.

The only real downside to this area is how open it can feel. While it’s not entirely exposed thanks to all the broken planes and scattered cover points, you’re still vulnerable to getting shot from multiple directions.

Because of this, the best approach when landing here is to have every teammate pick a section of the area to lock down. Split up just enough to maximize your looting, but stay close enough to back each other up. Have someone watching each angle so you’re not caught off guard.

Focus on collecting cash quickly, grab a loadout as soon as possible, and then rotate out either toward Airport or another nearby point of interest where you can continue pushing and keeping pressure on other squads.

Prison

Prison location on the map - bo6

Prison is located in the far southeast corner of Verdansk, making it one of the most remote spots on the map. This isolation is what makes it a great choice if you’re looking for a peaceful start, away from the hectic early-game chaos that can often define other locations.

The area offers plenty of opportunities to loot freely without the constant threat of enemy encounters, allowing you time to gather your gear and secure your loadout without too much pressure. With multiple floors throughout the building, there’s a good amount of loot and cash to collect, ensuring you won’t be left scrambling for weapons or resources.

However, it’s important to note that since Prison is located so far out on the map, there’s a low chance the first safe zone will land here, so you should be ready to rotate early to avoid being caught out of the zone.

On the plus side, if you’re lucky, a helicopter may spawn at Prison, giving you an easy and fast way to rotate and cover more ground quickly, making your escape much smoother.

Airport

Airport location on the map - bo6

The Airport is a classic landing spot in Verdansk, located in the northwest section of the map. It’s a massive area with multiple buildings, open spaces, and a lot of loot scattered around, making it an ideal spot for both solo players and squads looking to gear up.

The terminal and control tower are the key hotspots for high-tier gear, but they come with their own risks. These areas offer limited cover and height advantages, which makes them vulnerable to ambushes from other players. You’ll need to stay alert and ready for a fight if you decide to loot these areas.

Luckily, there’s usually a Buy Station nearby, allowing you to secure your loadout early and get a strong start. However, be cautious when looting outside, as the wide-open spaces around the Airport make you an easy target for snipers or any enemies taking positions at a distance.

Keep your head on a swivel and plan your movements carefully to avoid getting picked off.

Quarry

Quarry location on the map - bo6

Quarry is located in the northeast part of Verdansk and is spacious enough for quads, making it a great spot if you’re playing with a full squad. There’s plenty of loot to go around, so you won’t have to worry about your teammates stealing your supply boxes.

In addition to that, with multiple Buy Stations nearby, you can easily get your loadout and UAVs after you and your teammates have collected enough cash, so this will likely be less of an issue.

However, keep in mind that the wide-open layout of the Quarry means there’s less cover, unless you’re staying inside the hangars, in which case you should be fine. But if the safe zone pulls far, then you’ll have a long way to travel across open ground.

Superstore

Superstore location on the map - bo6

We have to include Superstore, as it stands out as one of the most popular and chaotic landing spots in Verdansk.

Positioned near the center-west of the map, it’s often a hot drop in almost every match, drawing in squads looking for quick action.

This landing spot isn’t for the faint-hearted or casual players who prefer a slower pace; unless you’re confident in your aim and looking for a high-stakes, fast-paced start to the match, this is where you’ll want to land.

The building itself is packed with loot, including high-tier weapons, armor plates, and cash, offering plenty of valuable gear to get you started. But, a word of caution: you need to be ready for a fight as soon as you land, even if you only have the starting pistol in hand.

However, if you manage to survive the initial chaos, you’ll walk out of Superstore fully geared up and with more than enough money for an early loadout, giving you a significant advantage over other squads.

Plus, you’ll have some impressive stats to show off, making it all worthwhile if you’re up for the challenge.

Downtown

Downtown location on the map - bo6

Downtown is widely considered one of the best landing spots in Verdansk and has been our personal favorite go-to location since the very first day.

It’s strategically positioned near the center of the map, which means it’s often located within the first few safe zones, allowing you to avoid the stress of having to relocate early in the match.

This central position provides a lot of advantages, as you’re always in a good spot to either rotate to other key locations or hold your ground while staying within the safety of the zone.

The area is dominated by towering buildings, making it an ideal spot for players who prefer to play from higher ground, offering a perfect vantage point for sniping and keeping an eye on enemy movements from a distance.

From Downtown, you can easily parachute to other key spots such as the Hospital, Stadium, or TV Station, giving you the flexibility to change your position quickly if needed.

However, one thing to keep in mind is that Downtown is rarely a quiet spot. It’s often contested, and you’ll encounter plenty of enemy squads eager to engage, especially when the loot here is so abundant. Because of this, you need to stay vigilant and be prepared for action at any time.
