Pokemon is a game of many strategies, and the cards that belong to Lillie introduced in the Journey Together expansion are all designed to work together. Each card of Lillie’s is intended to complement the rest, and only by using them and their abilities together will you be able to attain victory.

Using Lillie’s cards will allow you to control the entire game by altering the benches of you and your opponent. By controlling which cards are in play, Lillie can empower her most important Pokemon to deal large amounts of damage. This deck is designed to be used against Dragon-type Pokemon.

Lillie’s Cutiefly
HP: 30
Lillie’s Cutiefly is a card that doesn’t have many useful applications outside of this expansion. The main use of this card is so that it can be evolved into Lillie’s Ribombee. This doesn’t mean that Lillie’s Cutiefly is completely useless. The Hold Still attack enables Cutiefly to heal ten damage when used, which can temporarily allow Cutiefly to withstand several low-level attacks until it can be evolved into Ribombee.
Despite this ability, you won’t want to involve Cutiefly in any direct fights before it can be evolved. Evolving Lillie’s Cutiefly to Lillie’s Ribombee has a unique effect, making it worth the effort to include a few of these in your deck. Whenever Ribombee is evolved from Cutiefly, the Inviting Wink ability is triggered. When this happens, your opponent must reveal their hand, and you can select any of their basic Pokemon to be put on their bench.

Lillie’s Ribombee
HP: 70
Evolving from Lillie’s Cutiefly, Lillie’s Ribombee is a Pokemon with an unusual effect. Whenever Cutiefly evolves into Ribombee, an ability called Inviting Wink is activated. Inviting Wink allows you to look at your opponent’s hand and choose as many basic Pokemon as you want. Any Pokemon you choose will be added to their bench. Using this ability at the right time can interrupt your opponent’s strategy by forcing them to play cards earlier than they intended.

Once they are on the bench, you can then dispatch them with Ribombee or any other Pokemon. With a low health of only 70, Ribombee can’t be involved in too many fights. The Magical Shot attack can do 50 damage for only one energy, so Ribombee can still deal damage if it needs to.
3
Lillie’s Pearl
HP: None
Lillie’s Pearl is a Pokemon Tool that can be used to reduce the benefit your opponent will gain from defeating any of Lillie’s Pokemon that it’s attached to. When this Tool card is attached, any of Lillie’s Pokemon that are Knocked Out by your opponent will result in them receiving one fewer Prize card than they normally would.
This can be used to slow down the game and give you more time to make the most of the synergy that all of Lillie’s cards share. In this way, Lillie’s weaker Pokemon don’t represent as much of a liability to the rest of your team.
2
Lillie’s Comfey
HP: 70
Lillie’s Comfey is a Pokemon that synergizes with other Lillie’s Pokemon in your deck, allowing you to more easily play her trainer cards. For one Colorless energy Comfey can use the Inviting Flowers attack. Inviting Flowers doesn’t deal any damage to your opponent’s Pokemon, but it allows you to search your deck for other Lillie’s Pokemon. This is limited to basic Pokemon only.
These cards are placed directly on the deck, allowing you to quickly build up an offense. Using this attack with Ribombee’s Inviting Wink ability allows you to control both sides of the match. Like many of Lillie’s Pokemon, Comfey isn’t made for direct combat. Comfey’s Fade Out attack deals 30 damage, but using it returns Comfey and any cards that are attached to it to your hand. This can be used to save Comfey from danger, or to clear the way for more powerful Pokemon.
1
Lillie’s Clefairy ex
HP: 190
Using Lillie’s Clefairy ex to its full potential involves the abilities of every other card on this list. Clefairy’s Full Moon Rondo attack 20 damage for each Pokemon you and your opponent currently have on your bench. The more Pokemon that are in play, the more powerful Lillie’s Clefairy can be. This can be accomplished easily by using Lillie’s other trainer cards. By using Ribombee’s Inviting Wink ability, you can fill up your opponent’s bench with cards from their hand.
With the Inviting Flowers ability, Comfey allows you to search your deck for Lillie’s Pokemon to be played to your bench. Using these two abilities together will enable you to make sure that Clefairy is dealing the maximum amount of damage possible. Additionally, Clefairy also has its own ability called Fairy Zone. Fairy Zone alters the weakness of any of your opponent’s Dragon-type Pokemon that are in play to be weak to Psychic instead.
