Honkai: Star Rail players are going to receive a free five-star character as part of the HoYoverse sci-fi RPG’s upcoming Version 3.2 update.
An official post to Honkai: Star Rail‘s social media accounts details the new updates to the in-game shop, including the addition of the “Stellar Convergence” store. The Stellar Convergence shop will use the previously-revealed “Golden Companion Spirits” for players to purchase from a small selection of five-star characters, including limited units Ruan Mei and Luocha. The shop will also feature “Light Cone Memory Shards” as a new currency used to acquire five-star Light Cones. The post also reveals that players will be given a Light Cone Memory Shard when purchasing the premium version of Version 3.2’s battle pass.

Alongside the new five-star store within Honkai: Star Rail, another in-game shop will be receiving a small update. The “Herta’s Store” shop attached to the Simulated Universe will see the addition of the four-star “Ninja Record: Sound Hunt” Destruction Light Cone, as well as its unique Superimposition Material. The Light Cone and its materials were previously given out as a limited-time reward for Version 2.6’s “Sound Hunt Ninjutsu Inscription” event. The new shop updates to Honkai: Star Rail will launch later this week with Version 3.2 on April 8.
Honkai: Star Rail‘s Version 3.2 is expected to be loaded with content to celebrate the second anniversary of the sci-fi RPG. The update will welcome a pair of new characters in Castorice and Anaxa, both expected to be heavily involved in the next chapter of Amphoreus’ main story.
