Blizzard Entertainment is seemingly receiving a wealth of StarCraft pitches from leading Korean developers according to a new report.

As reported by Eurogamer, former Blizzard art director Bill Petras has passed away unexpectedly at the age of 54. Petras’ passing was first shared by former cinematic project director Harley Huggins II, who referred to Petras as a “game development legend” and praised the World of Warcraft art director as an “amazingly gifted artist.” Huggins also shared fond memories of his time working at Blizzard with Petras, with the two starting the same week and developing a close friendship during their time at the studio. Blizzard has not made an official statement about Petras’ passing at this time.

For many fans of Blizzard, Bill Petras will be remembered for his contribution to many of the developer’s most well-known franchises.
