Titus Welliver has backed the petition, and in a recent interview, he revealed that he remains hopeful that Harry Bosch will be revisited at some point in the future.
Titus Welliver will feature in three cameo appearances in the Ballard spin-off, as Amazon tries to push Michael Connelly’s iconic detective aside, in an attempt to cater to a younger demographic. Titus Welliver was born to play Harry Bosch, and after playing the character in Bosch and Bosch: Legacy for over a decade, he isn’t done yet. Unfortunately, Amazon appears to be finished with Harry Bosch despite high viewership and a huge fan base who are keen to see more of Michael Connelly’s crime-solving ex-LAPD detective turned private eye. However, Titus Welliver hasn’t given up on trying to convince Amazon to give Bosch: Legacy the continuation it deserves: In a recent interview with The Hollywood Reporter, he said:
I have a decade-long business and personal relationship with Amazon Studios from the early inception of them getting into the entertainment business. I have a first-look development deal with Amazon. My business relationship with them continues outside of Bosch. And, you never know in Hollywood. I would not be shocked if at some point there was a revisitation.

Amazon owns the rights to Michael Connelly’s Bosch-verse, so nothing goes forward without their approval, so Welliver is smart to continue his working relationship with them. Hollywood is unpredictable, and nothing is ever final. Jack Ryan’s fourth season was billed as ‘The Final Season’ but a movie version has just been announced. The same thing could very likely happen with Bosch: Legacy, but the fans need to keep voicing their opinions to convince Amazon to do a U-Turn.

Titus Welliver’s Backing Of The Petition Is Heaping Pressure On Amazon To Change Their Minds About The Cancelation
Amazon’s marketing campaign for Bosch: Legacy‘s final season was supposed to be all about ‘the sun setting on the saga’ but the fans have fought back against the official narrative being rammed down their throats. It feels like the majority are on board the ‘Save Bosch: Legacy train’, as opposed to the Amazon Money Truck. Titus Welliver became the self-appointed conductor of the train, just as Amazon were putting the finishing touches to their Goodbye Bosch: Legacy flower parade. Welliver dropped a huge bombshell and has supported the petition in numerous interviews on the Bosch: Legacy promotional tour, and he also revealed that he and the creative team were blindsided by the cancelation. Welliver stated:
We’d already been in conversations midway towards the end of the season talking about the next season and ideas, and we were getting very excited about the prospect of that.
The fans were also very excited for more Bosch: Legacy beyond the third season, as Amazon promised them this big expansion of Michael Connelly’s crime universe, with the Ballard and Jerry Edgar spin-offs, which were set to run alongside Harry Bosch’s solo stories. A potential fourth season would have seen Harry Bosch return as a volunteer in the San Fernando Police Department to investigate cold cases, just as he does in Michael Connelly’s book series. The Save Bosch: Legacy campaign has always pushed for a movie version to wrap things up, and this now looks like the most logical next step.
