Destiny 2: Heresy – How To Unlock The One For All Catalyst For Barrow-Dyad

Here’s how to unlock the One For All Catalyst for Barrow-Dyad in Destiny 2: Heresy.

But as with the weapon’s previous Catalysts, getting your hands on this one won’t be easy. You’ll need to scour The Nether activity for some hard-to-find secrets before you can craft Target Lock. Today, we’ll be showing you where to find these secrets and give a brief rundown of how to start the Target Lock Catalyst quest for Barrow-Dyad.

Catalyst Prerequisites

Destiny 2 Path of Ambition

Before you can start the quest for the Target Lock Catalyst, you must first acquire three Coalescence of the Knife consumables. This item does not appear in your inventory, so tracking which ones you have can prove tricky. There are three drop sources:

  1. “Mission Dossier: Blade Logic” quest.
  2. The Hull – Hidden Cabal chest.
  3. The Founts – Hidden rune chest.

Mission Dossier: Blade Logic is a side quest you’ll unlock during the seasonal story. Visit the

Shaping Slab
to start the quest, then complete the main objective. Turning in the quest should give you one Coalescence of the Knife.

The Hull has a hidden Cabal chest that awards a Coalescence of the Knife. Make your way to the Scarlet Keep-looking Hive pillars and walk towards the nearby Cabal flag. You should be able to scan a Toland Orb. If it’s not there, you might need to claim The Founts rune chest first or obtain Barrow-Dyad’s other catalysts. Scan the orb, run down a floor into the hidden Cabal bunker, then use the newly-scanned code to get inside and open the chest.

The Founts region has a hidden chest that will only spawn upon shooting a series of nearby Hive runes. From the shifting piston near the middle of the room, look towards the left side of the arena for a rune code. You’ll need to find the three symbols displayed on the wall and shoot them. In the room right behind the symbols, you’ll find a wall of Hive runes you can shoot. Recreate the pattern you saw earlier.

Once you’ve completed that puzzle and grabbed the chest, turn around and shoot the Hive rune on the pillar. This will open a secret maze with a small Taken Blight inside. Break it to receive your Coalescence of the Knife.

How To Get The Target Lock Catalyst

Now that you’ve done the busywork, you can now get the Catalyst quest. From The Hull spawn point, make your way to the opposite end of the area. You’ll find a side room with a dormant Hive machine inside, similar to the one you activate in The Mausoleum and Trenchway. Since you have three Coalescence of the Knife, you should be able to open the portal. Open the chest on the other side to start the quest.

All you need to do is complete the

Derealize Exotic mission
with Barrow-Dyad equipped. Normal difficulty counts, and you only need Barrow-Dyad equipped at the end of the mission to receive credit. Clear the mission, and you’ll now be able to forge Target Lock onto Barrow-Dyad.
