Gaara Might’ve Survived Anyway, But This Made Things More Dramatic
- Occurs In: Vengeful Strike! The Bracken Dance! (Episode 127 of Naruto)
Kimimaro is a chilling antagonist who manipulates his bones to attack his opponents. This makes him a tough ninja to fight, even for powerful shinobi like Rock Lee and Gaara.
While the sand jinchuriki’s assist aids Rock Lee when he needs it, Gaara was still pushed against the ropes by this powerful villain. However, before Kimimaro could land a blow to deal severe damage, his illness got the better of him, and he died moments before the killing blow, which was a bit too convenient for some people.

Technically, the fight between Sakura and Ino ended in a draw, but fans consider this a victory since this confrontation helped them take the first step to renewing their friendship. A highlight in this battle comes when Ino manages to catch her rival flush with the Mind Transfer jutsu.
However, this is when she meets Inner Sakura, an exaggerated portrayal of Sakura’s inner thoughts, who kicks Ino out in an emphatic fashion. His Pervy Antics Somehow Defeated A Jonin-Level Ninja
- Occurs In: My Name is Konohamaru! (Episode 2 of Naruto)
Ebisu is a jonin who doesn’t deserve to have such a high rank at all, given how he was schooled by a genin who had failed three times in the Ninja Academy. After looking down on Naruto and trying to shield Konohamaru from the troublemaker’s presence, the protagonist decided that enough was enough.
While Ebisu was able to handle the effect of a single laviscious woman, he met his match when Naruto combined his Sexy jutsu with his Shadow Clones to overwhelm the jonin. The embarrassment of the situation knocked Ebisu out in one of his most humiliating losses.

- Occurs In: Surprise Attack! Naruto’s Secret Weapon! (Episode 45 of Naruto)
The battle between Naruto and Kiba is great, as the protagonist gets his time to shine. While he’s beat down numerous times by his opponent, Naruto turns the tide of battle after he strains too hard while charging up his chakra and accidentally farts in Kiba’s face.
Since Kiba’s sense of smell was enhanced at the time, the scent of Naruto’s fart overwhelmed him. This allowed the protagonist to unleash a counterattack and win this battle in a hilarious fashion that was befitting of the No. 1 Most Unpredictable Ninja.

Team Guy Beats Their Copies By Becoming Stronger Than Before, Somehow
The Dumbest Fight In Naruto History
- Occurs In: Beasts! Alive Again! (Episode 28 of Naruto: Shippuden)
One of the worst fights in all of Naruto comes when Team Guy removes the seals protecting the Akatsuki gate, only to find out that there was a countermeasure set in place that created a clone of equal strength for each person who removed the seal. This occupied Guy and his team, who spent numerous episodes trying to best their clones.
Despite being made of flesh and blood, the exhaustion of this prolonged battle didn’t stop Team Guy from losing against their clones. Instead, all they did was become stronger than before the clones were made somehow, leading to one of the most underwhelming victories in Naruto.
