Nintendo’s Exclusive Donkey Kong Water Bottles Are Available Now

With the Nintendo Switch 2 presentation closing out with a brand-new 3D Donkey Kong game getting announced, there’s little doubt the DK brand is going to be hot this summer. So, to stay cool, check out these awesome-looking Donkey Kong and Diddy Kong water bottles that are now available through the Nintendo Store.

The pair of water bottles was originally exclusive to the Nintendo New York store. But as of recently, the company has made the duo available via its online retail shop too. And we’re glad for them because they’re pretty sweet.

We go hands-on with the Nintendo Switch 2 hardware, checking out Mario Kart World, Donkey Kong Bananza, and testing the new features of the console.

Why These Donkey Kong Bottles Are A Must-Have

Much like their in-game characters, the Donkey Kong Banana Bunch Water Bottle is the larger of the two choices. It holds 32 ounces of your liquid of choice. The exterior is a lush jungle green, and there’s a large barrel of bananas on one side of the bottle. There are other bananas scattered around randomly, too. Some are intact, while others are just peels, as Donkey Kong is featured prominently with a sloppy mouthful of his favorite food.

This larger 32-ounce water bottle has a screw-on lid that comes with a magnetic swivel closure. And there’s a handle on the top for easy carrying with our smaller human hands.

The Diddy Kong Banana Bunch Water Bottle is a bit smaller, just like Donkey Kong’s little buddy, Diddy. It’s sized at 16 ounces, making it perfect for the smaller kiddos in your home. The Diddy Kong water bottle is primarily yellow but also features a barrel full of bananas. Diddy isn’t haphazardly chowing down on his though, but instead carefully carrying them to add more to the overall collection.

For the kids, the 16-ounce bottle comes with a screw-on leak-proof lid with a built-in straw for quick and easy drinking. And it has a smaller handle so that children won’t have issues carrying it from place to place.

While the two water bottles differ in size, they’re essentially the same in the rest of their construction. Both feature a Thermo 3D double wall vacuum insulation design. Nintendo promises this keeps your hot beverages hot and your cold beverages cold “for hours on end.” And each water bottle has a powder coat base coat to give the containers a high-quality feel.

Nintendo suggests washing the bottles before their first use, hand washing them when dirty without bleach, and not to put the water bottles in the dishwasher or microwave.

It’s likely to be a huge year for Donkey Kong (and probably Diddy Kong, too). The Nintendo Switch 2 showcase ended with the first-ever reveal of Donkey Kong Bananza. The first 3D Donkey Kong game since Donkey Kong 64 looks exactly like what fans have been hoping for since Rare’s 1999 3D platformer, which, for whatever reason, still isn’t on Nintendo Switch Online. Even Mario Kart World looks to be taking a page out of Diddy Kong’s book with vehicles that are driving, flying, boating, and more.

If you’re getting yourself or your kids a Switch 2, grab something to hydrate with as well! The Donkey Kong Banana Bunch Water Bottle is $45 at the 32-ounce size. The Diddy Kong Banana Bunch Water Bottle is $30 at the 16-ounce size. Get them now before Nintendo throws them out to the Kremlings.
