My main question around cross gen is what happens with the physical cart.
Since rumours about the switch 2 cart seem to indicate that they will have a new physical shape that won’t fit into the old switch
Will it be like smart delivery where a cross gen game ships on a switch 1 cart and requires a install or download of the switch 2 version.
It seems like the only feasible option I know historically Nintendo had made users double dip eg twilight princess GameCube to Wii but it doesn’t seem that tactic will be accepted today especially when you’re in a ecosystem like switch to switch 2
