Monopoly GO’s Safe Trade feature allows players to exchange sticker cards with each other in a secure way. The main purpose of Safe Trade is to provide a safe environment for players to trade stickers. This helps to prevent scams or situations where one player doesn’t receive the agreed-upon stickers after sending theirs.
To make things easier, Scopely has now added a search bar to the sticker selection screen. This new feature was announced at the same time as the launch of the new album season. Search Bar in Safe Trade, Explained
Previously, players with large sticker collections had to scroll through numerous cards to find the ones they wanted to trade. A search bar comes in handy because it allows players to quickly and easily find the specific stickers they want to send in trades. Not only does this save time, but it also minimizes the chance of accidentally selecting and sending the wrong sticker.
The search bar also has a “rarity filter,” indicated by the sticker’s star rating. This lets players narrow down their search results to stickers of a particular rarity. For example, a player could choose to display only 4-star or 5-star stickers. This way, they won’t have to sift through lower-rarity cards when looking for higher-value trades.
How To Use Search Bar in Safe Trade
While sending a sticker in the Safe Trade process, you can see the new search bar interface. In the search bar, you can type the name of the “duplicate Sticker” you want to offer in the trade. The search bar also has a filter option that lets you choose which star rating you want to see. If you want to refine your search, you can use this filter to select a specific star rating (e.g., 4-star, 5-star). This saves time and effort by showing you only the stickers that match what you’re looking for.
As you type and/or use the rarity filter, the game will display the stickers that match your criteria. From the filtered search results, select the specific sticker you want to offer in the trade. Continue with the Safe Trade process as usual, confirming the trade with your Monopoly GO friends.
