Once you unlock the Second Sea in Roblox’s Fisch, things start to get a lot more interesting and competitive. To keep up with the challenges and catch the rarest fish, you must use better bait. That’s where Tropical Bait Crates come in. These rare crates contain an entire assortment of local baits that give you a serious advantage when fishing on new islands.
Luckily, they’re not hard to get, but there are a few things you should know first. In this guide, we will break down where to find Tropical Bait Crates, how to increase your chances of getting them, and what you can expect to find inside each one.
How To Obtain Tropical Bait Crates
Tropical Bait Crates are exclusive to the Second Sea. That means if you’re still fishing in the First Sea, you won’t find any, no matter how long you try.
Once you’ve defeated the Cthulu boss and gained access to the Second Sea, all you need to do is fish there. Catching a Tropical Bait Crate in the Second Sea is as easy as catching a Bait Crate or Common Crate in the First Sea.
In this case, there is no specific location where you need to fish to catch the Tropical Bait Crate because they are regionless, and any place in the Second Sea, from Waveborne to Pine Shoal, is suitable for this.
Since a crate is not a fish, it does not have any preferences or requirements about the weather, time of day, or season. Instead, the only thing you can do to increase your chances of catching one is to choose the right bait and rod.
Speaking of bait, there is only a single effective one — Magnet. Magnet, in turn, can be obtained from the Common Crate or Bait Crate, which you can catch in the First Sea.
As for the fishing rod, the best option is to use the one you got in the Second Sea because, unlike the rods from the First Sea, they do not have a stat debuff. To increase your chances, it’s best to use rods with a high Luck stat. Among them in the Second Sea are Free Spirit Rod and Azure Of Lagoon.
