How To Get The Tidebreaker
The Tidebreaker can be bought from a merchant stall located on the central island inside the Desolate Pocket, a hidden underwater cave system in the Fisch’s First Sea. But before you can swim in and grab it, you should gain access to the Desolate Deep. Here’s how to reach the Desolate Pocket:
- First, buy the Basic Diving Gear from the vendor next to the Shipwright at Moosewood Beach for C$3,000. It will let you breathe underwater long enough to reach the hidden zone.
- Next, head North-Northwest from the Statue of Sovereignty until you spot a red buoy floating in the ocean, at the following coordinates: -790, 125, -3100.
- This buoy marks the entrance to the cave system — dive beneath it and swim downward into a large crater in the sea floor.
- Once inside, keep an eye out for a sign with a skull icon warning of dangerous caves. From there, swim to the right and enter a twisting underwater tunnel filled with glowing coral and deadly sea mines.
- Carefully navigate through the mines, follow the coral lights, and eventually, you will surface inside a massive underground cavern known as the Desolate Pocket.
- Swim toward the central island and look for the merchant stall — that’s where you can buy the Tidebreaker.
When you arrive there, all you have to do is interact with Tidebreaker to buy it. This gadget will cost you 80,000 Credits.
How To Use The Tidebreaker
Using the Tidebreaker is straightforward. Once purchased, just drag it into your active slot, so your character holds it in their hand. Then jump into any body of water, and it will automatically kick in. You will instantly feel a huge speed boost, making underwater movement significantly smoother.
