The new Zombies map, Shattered Veil, brings its own collection of Easter eggs. Some may reward you with the highly sought-after Ray Gun Mark 2, while others will grant you some free loot to help with your survival. And, of course, there’s the infamous jumpscare Easter egg that’s become an essential part of all the new maps. This guide will show you how you can complete it.
Trigger warning: Do not attempt this if you get scared easily. You’ve been warned.
How To Activate The Jumpscare Easter Egg On Shattered Veil
Once you have this set up, start a match on Shattered Veil and progress toward the map until you reach the mansion.
Your task here is to use the weapon with the scope and look into a set of different windows where there should be a lady silhouette figure that will disappear as soon as you aim at it with the thermal scope, and you need to do this in four different windows.
The location of the lady is random for every match, so you just need to go around the mansion and look for her.
Here are all the locations of the windows where you can see the lady’s silhouette:
- The window is just at the top of the entrance of the mansion.
- The window is just to the right of the entrance of the mansion.
- The window on the west balcony.
- The window on the rear patio.
- The window on the southwest balcony.
There might be some other windows where you can see her, so just make sure to check all of them.
If you manage to spot her in four of the locations, make your way to the Nursery, west of the mansion. Inside the child’s bedroom, there will be a mirror on the left side of the room.
Before interacting with it, be prepared for a jumpscare. Unlike the jumpscare on the Tomb, this one is worth doing as it can reward you with some free loot.
After the jumpscare is over, interact with the mirror one more time and you will be able to grab some essence, some salvage, and even a free perk if you’re lucky.
