Behaviour Interactive has unveiled the April 2025 content roadmap for the asymmetrical horror game Dead by Daylight. The one-versus-four multiplayer title has been a popular hit since it was first released in 2016, with over 60 million players loading Dead by Daylight on multiple platforms.
The survival horror game’s popularity is due, in part, to the various crossovers. Over the years, Dead by Daylight has seen iconic killers from franchises, including Stranger Things, Silent Hill, and The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, added to the PVP experience. The latest content roadmap details the upcoming events players can expect throughout April.

Dead by Daylight April 2025 Roadmap
April 12 will see Behaviour host a real-life Dead by Daylight event at Horrorcon in Scotland before the next Player Test Build (PTB) on April 15. Details of what the PTB will contain are still under wraps, but it will give players an advanced look at some of the development changes and rebalancing coming to the game. Rounding out the month, players will also see a new Techwear collection and a Fragment Frenzy mini-event on April 22.
With April set to be a packed month, it’s not all good news as players have seen the removal of the Hellraiser chapter in Dead by Daylight. The Cenobite, also known as Pinhead, was released in 2021 and quickly became a fan favorite. While no official reason was given for the content removal, fans suspect it could be down to licensing issues. Fortunately, those who unlocked Pinhead before he was delisted can still play as the gothic horror icon, although the accompanying chapter has completely disappeared.
Players undoubtedly have a lot to look forward to this month. Fans have been eager to see the return of last year’s Blood Moon event, and the team at Behaviour seems more than happy to oblige. If it is seen as a success, the Tokyo Ghoul crossover could be a turning point for Dead by Daylight, with Behaviour potentially looking for more anime killers to join the hunt against the Survivors.
