Sonic Speed Simulator

Just like the Sonic games, Sonic Speed Simulator lets you run through maps, collect rings, and attack enemies by jumping. At the start, you begin on the Green Hill map. As you level up and complete tasks, you can earn other characters such as Knuckles and Silver, equip chaos emeralds, and unlock maps like Lost Valley and Emerald Hill.

There are also time trial challenges that you can buy with rings to earn XP and other rewards. The game has a music feature in the upper right corner where you can switch between soundtracks from the games to listen to as you play.

Classic Sonic Simulator

With the iconic title screen, pixel graphics, and classic maps, Classic Sonic Simulator is a nostalgic remake of the old Sonic games from the early 1990s. After joining, you can select from a retro-style list of levels to play from, all the way from Green Hill Zone to House Zone

You can also choose any character from the series up to Sonic 3 and Knuckles. Every detail from the early platformers is captured faithfully. The game allows you to play custom levels made by other players as well, or you can create your own custom levels.

7

Sonic Movie Adventure

In Sonic Movie Adventure, you can play through the Green Hill map and other locations with the renders from the Sonic live-action movies. You start off with Sonic, and you can work your way up to other characters by completing quests.

It’s a fairly straightforward game, and the speeds can get very fast. There is also a shop feature where you can use robux to buy characters and other items for your own Roblox avatar. It is still a work in progress, and more content is being added and updated.

Sonic.EXE: The Disaster

Sonic.EXE is a horror game based on the Sonic.exe creepypasta. The game allows you to choose from two roles: a survivor or an EXE. As a survivor, your goal is to try to escape along with 6 other players, and EXE players win by stopping the survivors. There are quite a lot of different maps to play in and characters to choose from.

There are three EXE characters, those being Sonic.exe, Tails Doll, and Kolossos. Survivors have a total of 11 options, with the two newest additions being Silver and Blaze. Every character has their own set of abilities.

5

Sonic World Adventure

Sonic World Adventure is similar to the style of Sonic Unleashed. When you first join the game, you can select from three modes: Rooftop Run Demo 1, Test Stage Act 1, and Multiplayer Sandbox.

The demo of Rooftop Run is a quick and short version of the Sonic map of the same name, while the second mode is a test stage of the Sky Sanctuary map. The aim of both is to reach the goal ring at the end. In the Multiplayer Sandbox mode, you can explore small platforms and run through the world with other players.

4

Sonic Tech Demo 2

In Sonic Tech Demo 2, you can explore different areas alongside other players, as well as play as three different characters. Those three options are Sonic, Classic Sonic, and Shadow. All three characters are very detailed, and the movements of each vary.

While Sonic has his standard regular dash, Classic Sonic goes into a spin dash instead, and his feet spin in a circle while running. Shadow, on the other hand, boosts with his air shoes. The game also has side-view platforms where the angle and controls change to those of a classic side-scrolling platformer.

3

Sonic Tycoon

At the start of Sonic Tycoon, you get a selection of characters for your base’s theme: Team Sonic, Shadow, Amy, Silver, Blaze, and Metal Sonic are all the offered ones. It follows the usual style of Roblox tycoons, where you earn money by the second. The money can then be used to buy and unlock sections of the tycoon to upgrade your base.

The color of each tycoon matches their respective character, with Sonic being blue, Amy having pink, and so on. It does require some waiting to raise money in the beginning, but the pace quickens as you progress.

2

Sonic Star-Drop

Sonic Star-Drop is set on a land with different areas of Sonic maps to explore. It’s a very colorful game with lots of personality, where you play as Classic Sonic in Green Hill. Several chaos emeralds are hidden throughout the map that you can search for, as well as giant rings.

When they are entered, the giant rings teleport your avatar to a different part of the world. It’s a fairly relaxed game where you go about the world with others, and the controls are easy to get used to.

1

Sonic Rebooted

Sonic Rebooted remakes various stages from the Sonic games. It focuses on two characters: Sonic and Shadow. The stages for Sonic include Grand Metropolis, Dragon Road, Emerald Coast, and more, while Shadow’s are Kingdom Valley, The Ark, and Bullet Station. Not only is there a regular mode, but there’s a racing mode as well. The latter is just as the name suggests, where you race against time and against other players.

The maps are well-designed and mimic the environments of each Sonic game, and the graphics are true to the series’ 3D works. Both Sonic’s and Shadow’s movements are powerful when running and dashing, and their boosts are like eye candy.
