How To Add Animals To Your City in InZOI
You can add or change the animals roaming your city through the City Edit mode in InZOI. Here’s a step-by-step guide to help you out:
- Press M on your keyboard or click the Edit City button, usually found on the bottom-right of your screen.
- Next, select the City Appearance tab.
- On the right side of the City Appearance menu, click on the Animals tab.

You’ll see a selection of animals you can add to your city. The current options include:
- Cats
- Dogs
- Deer
- Pandas
- Raccoons
- Squirrels
- Foxes
- Crocodiles
- You can select a maximum of three different animal types to have in your city at a given time.
You can change the animals present in your city at any time by going back into the City Edit mode and adjusting your selections.
- For each animal you select, you can adjust its population density using a slider. Higher density means more of that animal will appear in your city in InZOI. Just remember that this density applies to all three animals that you select, not just one of them.
- Once you’ve made your selections and adjusted the densities, click “Go Back.” The animals you’ve chosen will gradually start appearing in the public areas of your city, like parks and streets.
Can You Get A Pet in InZOI?
While you can find pet-related items in InZOI’s Early Access Build Mode, you cannot currently adopt pets to live with your Zoi. These furry creatures are only there for aesthetic purposes, making your city feel more alive and giving you some great opportunities for fun exploration and taking photos. Many players have noticed these items and are eagerly waiting for the day they can bring a furry companion into their Zoi’s lives.
