With engrossing narratives, tough and meaningful decisions, and your fate often in the hands of a dreaded dice roll, CRPGs are some of the most deep and addictive games around. The genre has produced some of the greatest games of all time, such as Disco Elysium, which I always encourage people to pick up, especially if it’s on sale. Well, here I go again, because Disco Elysium’s Final Cut edition is now just $13 – oh, and you’ll get five other superb RPGs with it too thanks to this insanely cheap bundle.
Even by Humble Bundle’s usual standards of giving away several great games for a super low price, this new Dice and Destiny collection is a belter. Even if it was just Disco Elysium being offered up for 13 bucks, I’d probably be shouting from the rooftops about how good a deal this is. It’s a detective story that goes so much deeper than simply solving a case, with a poignant, gripping narrative and an amazing cast of characters. But alongside one of the best RPGs ever made, there’s so much more.
Citizen Sleeper, which follows a similar formula to Disco Elysium but tells the tale of an on-the-run robot that holds the digitized thoughts of an enslaved human, is also included in the bundle. Once again meeting a cast of emotive and intriguing characters in this journey across space, you dictate the direction of the narrative, which has multiple potential endings. Citizen Sleeper’s gameplay takes place in individual days, and you get a certain amount of dice rolls during each day that you can then allocate to certain tasks and actions. It recently got a sequel which is even better, and as an added extra in this bundle, you’ll get a 15% off voucher if you want to go and buy Citizen Sleeper 2.
Elsewhere, the first two entries in Obsidian’s brilliant Pillars of Eternity series are also thrown in. Pillars 1 and 2 are superb CRPGs that established the lore-rich fantasy universe of Eora, the same universe that the recently released Avowed is set in.
There’s also Broken Roads, which only came out last year and tasks you with surviving in an unforgiving, post-apocalyptic Australian wilderness. Its morality system is certainly a highlight, which takes a more philosophical approach when it comes to the consequences of your actions, rather than the ‘good versus evil’ trap so many RPGs fall into.

Finally, there’s Roadwarden, which features some gorgeous, moody pixel art. Admittedly, this is one that’s passed me by, but with a 95% user score on Steam, it’s clearly one that I shouldn’t have missed out on. You play as something of a lone wolf, who’s sent into a wilderness to spread the influence of a merchant’s guild, but plenty of interesting characters, side quests, and secrets surrounding this mysterious land will occupy your time too.
The six amazing RPGs featured in Humble Bundle’s Dice and Destiny collection will set you back just $13 / £10.04. However, there is the option to pay a little extra should you want to support Humble and the charities it backs. All the games included will be given to you as redeemable Steam keys. Given that Disco Elysium alone is $39.99 on Steam right now, this is a pretty remarkable deal.
