Where To Find Every Corruptors’ Fortress Treasure In The First Berserker: Khazan –

The Corruptors’ Fortress is, without question, the most trap-laden mission in The First Berserker: Khazan. In a game where levels often feature nasty traps, this is the stage where you are going to contend with a ton of nasty tricks. Making it all worse, there are trinkets and treasures stashed all over the place. So there is a lot to look out for.

We’ll take you through this contentious maze of traps, treasures, and tough encounters. With the help of this guide, you’ll work your way to the end of this mission with all the Soulstones, Jarlings, and Scrolls. From the undead hordes in the subterranean section to the powerful Pell Los soldiers lining the fortress itself, we’ll see you through this malicious mission.

Breached Room

Outside the room with Tristan, you’ll find a Spirit Ore. Once you hop down, there are a couple of Pell Los Fighters. Work your way through them, hop down again, head into the next room, and bind with the Breached Room Blade Nexus. Interact with the bookshelf to open up a pathway. You’ll find Lantimo’s Diary sitting out in the open. Stay on your guard, as there is an Undead Assassin stalking the halls down here. There are also arrow traps lining the halls. So, don’t step on any suspicious, raised tiles.

As you push forward, you enter an area with a cell on your left and right, with a long bridge lined with penduluming iron balls. There is an Undead Ice Archer on that bridge, and a Knivesveil Watcher to the side who’ll try to ambush you. Wait for the iron ball to swing past you, then dash to the end of the bridge, and hop down to your left. There is an Undead Shieldbearer waiting for you.

The next hallway has another iron ball trap. Sprint forward the second it is above your head and take a left. There are two Undead Swordsmen here. Wait for the iron ball to swing past the room to the right, and sprint out and to your left. Another Undead Assassin is waiting for you in the next hall. Head out the entrance on your right, dodging another iron ball, and grab the Transmutation Shard and Poison Enhancer.

The left entryway leads down another bridge with a Shieldbearer blocking the way. Toss a javelin and take them out. Head down the bridge, take a left, stab another Shieldbearer in the back, and you’ll be at a fork.

Down The Stairs

There is a Willpower Orb in the cell at the end of the hallways. Backtrack a little and take a left into the massive chamber. You’ll face off against an Elite Failed Creation. Once you kill it, you’ll get the Executioner’s Scroll. There are Transmutation Shards in the center cell. Open the cell in the back corner of the room to find a treasure chest that will give you a Ghost Shield, Bard’s Headband, Bard’s Top, Bard’s Wristguards, Bard’s Pants, and Bard’s Shoes.

Up The Stairs

If you travel up the stairs, you’ll be at another bridge with another iron ball. It won’t be easy to see, but there is an Ice Archer at the end of the bridge. Take them out before you make a run for it. When you sprint behind the ball, take a right into the cage partway down the bridge. There is a Vitality Sphere in this cage. Once you cross to the other side, watch out for the arrow trap. There is a Knivesveil Watcher here to deal with as well. There’ll be a ladder on your left and stairs on your right.

Go down the ladder on your left, collect the Unstable Soul Tearstone, open up the shortcut, and then go back up the ladder and travel up the stairs. You’ll face off against a Renowned Spell Blade.

The First Soulstone

Once you’ve killed the Renowned Spell Blade, find the room to the side of this hallway, and you’ll see the first Soulstone (1/5), climb the stairs, and you’ll run into another Undead Shieldbearer cramping a tight hallway.

There is another arrow trap in this hallway as well. You can’t avoid stepping on the trigger, but if you sprint down the hall, the arrows will miss you. Climb the stairs, and you’ll fight a Pell Los Fighter, pull the lever, climb down the stairs, and unlock the Massive Gate Blade Nexus.

Massive Gate

You’ll find a Plague Resistance Elixir, Stone, and Hallucination Cleans Potion spread around the pile of corpses. Once you’ve gathered all that stuff, look for the steps that lead into a little encampment of Pell Los Soldiers.

Two Pell Los Fighters. Spirit Orbs in the tent. Juiced up Pell Los Guardian Knight in front of the fire, with a Pell Los Mage to the left. Beside the mage is a booby-trapped chest. After it explodes, collect the Soul Cleaver Dual Wield and twenty Keen Blades. You’ll find an Unstable Soul Tearstone behind the tent in the back of the encampment.

Head up the stairs, there is a Pell Los Fighter across from you, but what you can’t see is the Pell Los Lancer beside him. You can travel around the balcony and get the jump on them. There are two Inner Essences beside them. Head into the room, and up the stairs. There’s a Pell Los Fighter patrolling the stairs, a little further ahead, there is a Pell Los Archer waiting to shoot the exploding barrels at the top of the stairs. Take them out with a javelin first.

The Jarling

Once you are in the area with the exploding barrels, jump down the hole on the platform below. You’ll find the Jarling here.

Hop down, but watch out: there are two Knivesveil Watchers looking to attack you in this area. There is a Fire Cleanse Potion in the room with the kegs. You’ll now be back in the main room. Climb the stairs, but go all the way up this time. Avoid the arrow trap, and kill another Knivesveil Watcher. At the end of the bridge, there’ll be a fighter and a mage. Look around you, and you should spot the Transmutation Mists sitting on the beam, grab them, and go up the stairs.

At the top of the stairs is a Pell Los Arcane Knight. Rush them before they can start using their magic. Once you kill them, open the locked gate, and climb the ladder. There are two Knivesveil Watchers up here and an archer. You are best off getting the watchers’ attention, and backtracking so that you are out of sight of the archer. Once you take them out, re-enter the area and put a javelin in the head of the archer. Grab the Unstable Soul Tearstone, work your way to the end of the room, and hop down to the narrow wooden platform below. There is a Lightning Enhancer on this platform.

Hop down into the cell, then make your way to the stairway wrapping around the outer wall. There is a Lancer patrolling this area. Draw him to you and fight him one on one. Watch out, there is a trap waiting for you on the stairs. A mass of giant iron balls will roll in from the room to the side. After the balls have rolled through, enter the area where the balls came from, and fight the Pell Los Fighter. Now, open the chest, and get the Imperial Officer’s Spear, Executioner’s Combat Boots, Necklace of Resolve, and a Spirit Ore.

Follow the rampart, push the mage over the edge, stick to the path as it hooks around, and you’ll get the Fire Enhancer. Climb the ladder at the end to bind to the Vaisar Watchtower Blade Nexus.

Vaisar Watchtower

Unstable Soul Tearstone after killing Beast of Rampage. Hop down, climb the ladder, kill the two fighters, and climb down the ladder.

The Second Soulstone

Look for the back room with junk piled in it. You’ll find the next Soulstone (2/5). Climb down the stairs, there will be a Concentrated Lightning Essence. There’s a massive ballista here, so sprint past it, kill the fighter, and then deal with the lancer.

Head up the stairs, and you’ll square off against the Pell Los Trooper. There’s a chest behind him with a Corrupted Dual Wield, Radiant Guardian’s Leggings, Necklace of Resolve, and a Lightning Spirit’s Fuel. Before you push forward, head up the stairway in the back to get the two Crimson Meteorites and unlock the shortcut.

Now, back on the main path, head down the ladder. Exit the room, and there will be multiple Pell Los Fighters, a Mage, and a Longswordsman. In the corner on the left, you’ll find an Unstable Soul Tearstone. After you clear out these soldiers, you’ll encounter an Elite Pell Los Guardian Knight. There’s a Chaos Cleanse Potion next to him.

The Third Soulstone

In the next area, head up the stairs on your left. There are Knivesveil Watchers up here as well as a Beast of Rampage. In the area where you fought the beast, you’ll find the Prophecy 3 document. You’ll find another Soulstone (3/5) in the back area here.

At the bottom of the stairs, there’s a Pell Los Arcane Knight. Now, head into the courtyard, push the massive lever, and you’ll open the gate. Head down the stairs and you’ll get three Bandit’s Spoils. In the next room, open the chest and get the Bone Greatsword, Guardian’s Pauldrons, Necklace of the Reclaimed, and a Concentrated Lightning Essence. Slide down the ladder, pull the lever, and you’ll be back at the Massive Gate Blade Nexus.

Massive Gate: Part 2

Head through the open gate. Get the Unstable Tearstone. Fight your way through the many Knivesveil Watchers When you hit the first tower, climb the steps, fight the mage, knight, and fighter, and grab the Great Generals Scroll. Work your way through the next set of watchers, and conclude by killing the Beast of Rampage.

The Fourth Soulstone

Climb the steps, fight the two fighters and the Pell Los Guardian Knight. You’ll now be able to claim the fourth Soulstone (4/5).

Head forward, and kill the two lancers and the fighter. Run past the ballista. There are some Plague Resistant Elixirs next to the statue on your right. Enter into the courtyard covered in blood. Put on some plague-resistant accessories first. There is a diary in the corner of the courtyard. Kill the Failed Creation. Get the Unstable Soul Tearstone.

With your back to the entrance, take a right. You’ll find a room with a chest that holds a Dragonscale Helm, Dragonscale Pauldrons, Dragonscale Gauntlets, and three Transmutation Mists. Head to the other side of this room and activate the elevator. The Vampire’s Gate Blade Nexus is dead ahead.

The Fifth Soulstone

You can talk to Lantimos. He’ll give you some Plague Cleanse Potion if you ask him about the plague. Head forward, on your left there will be a Vaiser’s Disk Fragment, on your right is an illusory wall hiding the final Soulstone (5/5).

Now, all that is left is for you to enter the doors and fight the stage’s boss: Skalpal.
