Should you use a frying pan or a grenade?

If you have just begun looking into installing mods, and you don’t know where to start, look no further. We’ve done most of the legwork for you and have found some of the best mods out there that you can use to play a modded version of Repo.

All the mods mentioned here can be installed using the Thunderstore Mod Manager, or downloaded directly to your computer and installed manually. Proceed with caution, as sometimes mods could make your game sluggish or cause crashes. If you have any issues with a mods, reach out to the creator of that mod, not Semiwork.

1

More Players

Lobbies in Repo are capped at six players, which includes you and five of your friends. But what if you have more friends that want to play together and not be split between lobbies?

With the MorePlayers mod, you can have as many friends as you want to join you to play. The first few levels will feel very crowded, since the maps are smaller, but having this many people will make the higher levels much easier to complete.

2

Late Join

Vanilla Repo doesn’t allow players to join mid-game. The only way to let someone new join the squad is to go back to the main menu and restart the lobby using your most recent save file.

But if you install the LateJoin mod, anyone can join a game that’s in progress. However, they can’t just join you at any time. After you shop at the Service Station and move on to the stage where you grab the stuff you just bought, you’ll be able to invite your tardy friends to the game.

It’s possible that there may be some audio issues upon joining, but it should be fine once the next level starts.

3

Map Valuable Tracker

Have you ever reached the end of a level and wondered “did we get everything?” Often times, you’re ready to leave because there are so many monsters, and you just want to extract and get out of there! But when it’s quiet, and you have some extra time to explore, it can be helpful to know if there is anything more left on the map.

These monsters don’t get a prize for being the scariest, just your fear.

The Map Value Tracker mod displays the total cost of valuables on the map. For example, in the first screenshot above, the map value is $28,100. That means there are $28,100 worth of valuables on the map. The number also adjusts in real time. So when an item gets damaged, you extract, or you kill a monster and receive an orb, the number will automatically adjust.

This mod will only display the map value for the person who’s installed it. If anyone in your group didn’t install the mod, it won’t show for them.

4

Shop Items Spawn In Level

It’s easier than ever to get upgrades and items you would normally find in the shop with the Shop Items Spawn In Level mod. With this mod, while you’re searching for valuables, you might find a Health Upgrade, or a Stamina Upgrade, or maybe a roll drone.

Now you don’t have to spend all of your hard-earned money on upgrades every time and can get them for free! However, to keep the upgrade you have to activate it. Additionally, any weapons or tools you find (drones, melee weapons, etc) will disappear once you leave the level.

5

More Head

The developers at Semiwork promise they will eventually add cosmetics to Repo, but until they do, what’s a cosmetic-loving semibot to do if they want to stand out from the crowd?

Why, install the Morehead mod, of course! This mod comes with some default cosmetics to start you off. And if you or a friend have the skills to create your own cosmetics, you can add them to the mod!

This mod only works for players who install it. If you have it installed, and you play with friends who don’t, not only will they not see your cosmetics, you’ll see the cosmetics you chose for your semibot on those friends.

6

Shared Upgrades

Looking At The Map In Repo, Which Shows All Applied Upgrades On The Left Side.

When you play Repo with a lot of people, you might end up with someone who hoards all the health or strength upgrades, leaving either you or other teammates at a disadvantage. With the Shared Upgrades mod, whenever someone activates an upgrade, everyone also gets that upgrade. And if you pair it with the Shop Items Spawn In Level mod, by level four everyone will have 200 health and 160 stamina, or more.

Repo Vs. Lethal Company: Which Game Is Better?

How does Repo compare to Lethal Company? Let’s find out.

Sometimes an upgrade might not show up right away when activated, even if it’s listed in your upgrades list. Don’t worry, once you move on to the next stop, your numbers will update.

If you don’t want everyone to have all upgrades, you can instead install Shared_Upgrades_Chance_2 by RKM. With this mod, everyone has a 50 percent chance of getting an upgrade when a player activates it.

7

Shared Health Packs

Holding A Large Health Pack In The Repo Truck.

Listen, health packs are expensive in the shop. And even though you can give health to other players, that still leaves everyone with less than full health. But if you have the Shared Health Packs mod, that won’t be an issue.

With this mod, you’ll only need to buy maybe one or two large health packs at the shop. Once purchased, whenever anyone uses a health pack, everyone gets healed.

8

Repo Cart Decorations

Are you bored with the same old look on the Repo loot cart? Do you want to add a little pizazz to it? With the Repo Cart Decorations mod by KatKlerb, you can do just that!

Right now, the only decoration available is the blinking lights, but the developer plans on adding more decoration options, as well as an interface where you can choose which decoration you want!

There is currently a glitch that makes the decoration disappear whenever you leave a level by advancing or losing. The developer is working on fixing it, but until then, just quit and relaunch the game for the decoration to come back.

9

Lethal Company Valuables

Repo is very popular right now, but if you’re someone who loves Lethal Company and misses playing it, you can bring a little bit of Lethal Company to Repo with the Lethal Company Valuables mod.

This mod adds 30 scrap items from Lethal Company that you can collect and extract to get money for upgrades and tools. Items like the magnifying glass, toy cube, airhorn, and more.
