Lenovo just accidentally confirmed two new Nvidia GeForce RTX gaming GPUs

Nvidia may not have even announced any new GPUs below the RTX 5070 yet, but Lenovo has seemingly just confirmed the existence of two of them in an online spec sheet for its new PCs. The Nvidia GeForce RTX 5060 and its Ti variant are both listed as options in the specs for the company’s new Legion Tower 5i Gen 10 gaming PC, suggesting that the launch of both new GPUs is imminent.

Rumors about the RTX 5060 have been swirling around for the last few weeks, but Nvidia hasn’t officially announced the new GPUs yet. According to RTX 5060 Ti specs rumors, the faster of the two new GPUs will come in both 8GB and 16GB configurations, and will also make use of super-fast GDDR7 VRAM. Meanwhile, the RTX 5060 is expected to come with just 8GB of VRAM.

The amount of VRAM supplied with Nvidia’s latest GPUs has become a talking point recently, with our recent RTX 5070 review showing that 12GB of VRAM is no longer enough to run Indiana Jones and the Great Circle at 1080p with path tracing enabled, even if the GPU itself might be powerful enough to cope with the processing workload. If there is indeed a 16GB RTX 5060 Ti in the works, though, and it has a competitive price, then it could be a solid affordable gaming GPU.

As well as the RTX 5060 and 5060 Ti, the Lenovo Legion Tower 5i Gen 10 (Intel) specs sheet also shows the option for an RTX 5070 Ti graphics card, though there’s interestingly not an option for the cheaper RTX 5070. The page also shows that this version of the new PC is equipped with Intel Arrow Lake processors.

In our Core Ultra 7 265K review, we found that Intel Arrow Lake doesn’t perform that well in games, especially compared to the performance of the Ryzen 7 9800X3D. Historically, however, Lenovo has also produced AMD versions of its Legion Tower desktops, and it may well do the same with this lineup in the future too.
