Bosch: Legacy‘s sixth episode takes place one month after Jimmy Robertson’s murder when a manhunt concludes with the arrest of a man called Diego Para for the murder. Bosch and Maddie celebrate the news by raising a glass to Robertson in his local bar.
Elsewhere, Bosch and Maurice ‘Mo’ Bassi continue their investigation into McShane, and discover he had another business before taking a 30 percent stake in Gallagher’s operation, and this paper trail could lead to his whereabouts. Chandler discusses the Para case with the old DA, Archer, and he asks if she thinks it is a slam dunk. However, Chandler isn’t convinced, and his offending breaks the pattern of his previous taco stand robberies, which never resulted in a murder. Also, Para is maintaining his innocence, and he’s got his defense lawyer on the case.
Chandler meets with Para’s defense lawyer at Musso and Frank’s, and he shows the new DA video footage of a drunken Para returning home before the murders, and another sober man getting into his car and venturing out. He says he’ll convince the jury that it is two different people, and clear Para’s name. Chandler hands the murder book to Bosch for him to take a look, and he takes on the case.

What Happens During Harry Bosch’s Investigation Into Robertson’s Murder In Bosch: Legacy?
Bosch and Mo interview a series of witnesses to Robertson’s murder, while Chandler tells her prosecuting team that they simply can’t ignore the video footage that could clear Para’s name, and the evidence might not be enough to win over a jury. Bosch finds out the CCTV cameras in the area weren’t working while Robertson’s murder took place. In fact, they were out of action from 3am the previous evening, which makes them think the murder was not a random attack. Elsewhere, Bosch visits Siobhan, and she reveals she’s going back to Dublin, and he confesses that he feels he hasn’t done enough for her.
Maddie and Vasquez find out Victoria is arranging a meet-up with a secret person who used a burner phone to arrange so to not reveal their identity. Their surveillance operation reveals a shock for Vasquez: the mystery man also involved in the follow home robberies is her cousin, Albert. Back to the Gallagher murder case, Bosch and Mo discover that McShane’s business was failing when he bought a stake in Gallagher’s, and a special declaration is stopping them from finding out more information. However, the sealed federal files just open up a challenge for tech whizz, Mo Bassi, who is determined to crack the case. Elsewhere, a new witness claims she saw Para’s car leaving an hour or so after Robertson was killed, and Chandler figures it could be linked to the stashing of the murder weapon. As it stands, Para is going down for murder. The episode ends with Bosch meeting Chandler and revealing that Robertson wasn’t going for his gun, and was actually reaching into his back pocket to hand his wallet over to the masked killer.
Robertson was assassinated.
