One of the most important ways to keep Zois happy is to take care of their Needs. The first four Needs take the highest priority for health, but aren’t as important for happiness, these being: Hunger, Sleep, Hygiene, and Bathroom. These are easy to rectify, as long as houses have the correct necessities and players don’t force their Zois to go through schedules with no breaks. The Energy Need also falls into the bracket.

The next three Needs: Fun, Social, and Recognition, however, directly contribute to happiness, and if they fall low, Zois will become sad. For the Fun Need, Zois will need to play games, tell jokes, or learn something new. This can depend on a Zois personality and Preferences. The Social Need can naturally be raised by talking to other Zois, while Recognition is a bit more nuanced. Zois might want to send letters or walk around and be looked at.
Set Likes In A Zoi’s Preferences & Do Activities Relating To Them
One of the easiest ways to increase happiness in InZOI is to give Zois lots of Likes in their Preferences, rather than Dislikes. Zois can have a total of 10 Preferences, but these could all be Likes for an easier time.
For maximum efficiency, set their likes to chores like cleaning, which they will have to do anyway.
Players should then let Zois do or eat the things they enjoy, as they will get a small boost to their well-being. Such interactions will be marked with an orange heart.

Fulfill Urges To Increase Happiness In InZOI
Above a Zoi’s image, they will occasionally gain Urges based on their values and personality. Fulfilling these urges will make them happy and also earn Meow Coins to be spent in the Meow Store. The donuts on sale here can boost any need, happiness, and skills.
These urges could be to develop personal skills, have a specific conversation, listen to music alone, and much more. Make sure you pay attention to them, especially for unhappy Zois.
Maintain Healthy Relationships In InZOI
Another way to keep Zois happy and avoid sadness in InZOI is to maintain healthy relationships with family and friends. Bad relationships will result in arguments and toxic texts which will make both Zois unhappy.
This means putting in some effort to have good conversations and do shared hobbies together. If two Zois are incompatible, break off the relationship if possible to avoid prolonged unease.
