Xenoblade Chronicles X: Definitive Edition features quite a lot of aliens, both those that are hostile and friendly. Most of the enemies you face in the game are hostile indigens, the native life of the planet, but the Ganglion are a more personal threat. They are comprised of many different races, though the Prone make up the bulk of their force.

Xenoblade Chronicles X: Definitive Edition – Prone Sweet Prone Mission Walkthrough
Turns out not all of Xenoblade Chronicles X’s Prone are bad guys. Here’s how to save them.
However, not all Prone hold the same contempt for humanity, with the Tree Clan of the Prone happily helping humanity in fighting the Ganglion. But that effort goes both ways, and the Tree-mendous mission tasks you with saving even more of the Tree Clan from the hands of the Cavern Clan Prone.
How To Start Tree-mendous
There aren’t too many requirements for the Tree-mendous mission before it unlocks. The only major things you need is to have completed the Prone Sweet Prone mission so that the Tree Clan have been introduced to NLA. That’s it, really.
As soon as the Tree Clan appear in NLA, you can head to the Ma-Non Ship, where the starboard side will be newly opened, and speak with Sevvy Belgazus to begin the mission. Many Tree Clan members have been imprisoned by the Cavern Clan, including his own son.
Saving The Captive Prone
Once the mission is activated, you will be given three additional sub-missions that must all be completed to finish the Tree-mendous mission. Each of them, and how to complete them, are listed below.
There is a possibility that Uzoma will die if you’re not properly prepared, so make sure to save him last.
Kidnapped: Oll Valdileo
Oll Valdileo is located in the Milligan Supply Base, locked away inside a building in much the same way that the Tree Clan were in Prone Sweet Prone. This area is packed with level 40 and above enemies like Scabland Fortress, though is much tighter. You would be better off using Shadowrunner to get through here as opposed to your Skell.
Head to where they are imprisoned to be told you need a key from Ajiba Falgo, who now spawns. Defeat him to get the key. It will be hard to avoid the higher-level enemies here, but prioritise defeating Falgo no matter what. Even if you are defeated, you will get the key if Falgo died first. Return now to Oll to free him and complete the first sub-mission.
Kidnapped: Rada Valdileo
Rada Valdileo is trapped in the Milligan Supply Base as well, same as Oll. And much like them, he also needs you to defeat an enemy, Mujiba Falgo. Head out and defeat them just as you did for Oll, using the same tactics as before, to get the key.
Once you return to Rada, he will tell you about how the Cavern Clan have tamed Simius, but that they hate Kepha Holly. This is incredibly important information, as it is what allows you to save Uzoma. After telling you this, they will also return to NLA.
While this is the only logical way to learn about Kepha Holly and Simius, you don’t need to hear this to save Uzoma. If you already have Kepha Holly when you go to save him, you will be presented with the option.
Kidnapped: Uzoma Vassago
This is the most specific of the sub-missions, as it is the only one where the character can die. Rather than being imprisoned at the Milligan Supply Base like Oll and Rada, Uzoma is fighting for his freedom at the Mesa Fortress.
It is here the Kepha Holly must be used, so make sure to find some in advance. It can be found most easily near the Drowning Ring by FN Sites 313 and 317.
When you approach, Uzoma will already be cornered by both a Simius and Vanguard Glennar, though Uzoma is happy to die fighting. As he attempts to fight the Simius, you are presented with an option, provided you have Kepha Holly. You can watch as Uzoma is eaten, or you can use the Kepha Holly to scare away the Simius. Doing so will save Uzoma’s life.
In this outcome, you will only have to fight Vanguard Glennar, and may then speak with Uzoma for him to return to NLA to his father. Otherwise, Uzoma will die and you will need to defeat both Glennar and the Simius.
After every sub-mission has been completed, you may return to the Ma-non Ship. Regardless of the outcome, you will be given 14,000 Credits and 240 EXP.
