RPGs tend to have a huge number of items within them. Ranging from armor to weaponry to consumables, upgrades, and perhaps even more miscellaneous items, at least depending on the game. Such games are filled with items to use and collect that it might seem overwhelming, and for first-timers to Night City, that can certainly be the case in Cyberpunk 2077.

A lot of the items found in Cyberpunk 2077 can be seen as junk items with no use, but there also exists a huge amount of weaponry, cyberware, attachments, and consumables. Some of these items are incredibly good. These can be so good that they are always worth keeping, be it for certain scenarios that might occur where an item would be extremely useful, or due to just being amazing items worth carrying in general.

Players will do a lot of shooting in Cyberpunk 2077. Well, aside from those that only delve into melee builds. Regardless, with all the gun combat, possessing sights and scopes is useful, as they can help identify and spot enemies more easily, as well as grant bonuses.

The Biomonitor is a cyberware that heals players once they lose enough health. Once players fall under a certain amount of health, the Biomonitor will automatically heal them via their currently equipped healing item. It also comes with the bonus effect of increasing how effective healing items are, anywhere from 2-16%. Paired with other healing cyberware, such as the Blood Pump and Second Heart, it will be difficult for enemies to defeat players.

F-GX Frag Grenade

An Easy Way To Dispatch Enemies

While Cyberpunk 2077 offers a huge amount of weapons for players to use, there are other ways to defeat enemies outside of guns and melee armaments. There exist different cyberware weapons, as well as various grenades to use.

Some of the grenades are more deadly than others, with different abilities. There are some extremely strong grenades, such as Ozob’s Nose and the GASH Antipersonnel Grenade, but the F-GX Frag Grenade is a simple and easily obtainable grenade that is also able to deal harsh damage. The Headhopper mod provides a few enhancements with multiple increased stats. It lets smart weapons lock-on to 1–2 targets, gives a 20-30% lock-on speed bonus, and provides a 10-20% improvement in headshot damage.

Cyberpunk 2077 has a lot of weapons to offer players. Between the range of guns and melee weapons, which can be deadly with the right builds, there are some that are more powerful than others. Shotguns are very strong on their own, but extra additions can be taken to increase their lethality.

The Kneel! mod is an item that anyone who frequently uses shotguns should keep. This mod gives a 25% chance to dismember and instantly kill an enemy when shooting their legs. It isn’t the easiest to obtain, but should absolutely be kept when found.

While Cyberpunk 2077 can be played as a guns-blazing action game, it offers stealthy ways for players to take down enemies. Take-downs can be used while in melee range to instantly incapacitate an enemy, and guns can be equipped with silencers to quietly kill enemies from range.

Having a silencer always allows players to equip it for any situation where they want to sneakily complete their objective. Silencers can be quite easy to find: via vendors, from enemy weaponry, or just out in the world. Silencers that give high stealth damage bonuses would be ideal, with the XC-1- Cetus being a solid choice, especially at Tier 5 when it gains a 100% critical hit chance guarantee for undetected headshots.

Cyberpunk 2077 offers a lot of weapons for players to use. Between firearms and melee armaments, there is a vast array of selection. To go even further, there are different weapon types, such as power weapons, blunt weapons, tech weapons, smart weapons, and more.

Out of these, smart weapons can be ridiculously powerful, easily defeating enemies. However, certain cyberware is required in order to use such weaponry. This is where the Smart Link comes in, allowing the use of smart weapons, which can be a useful item to carry, as players could find a strong smart that they can use as soon as they equip it.

A Cyberware Great For Combat

Movement is a powerful way to fight in Cyberpunk 2077. There are various ways to move around quickly, but dashing and sliding can be strong when utilized while in combat.

The Kerenzikov further increases the viability of such movement abilities, as it allows players the ability to aim and shoot when dashing, dodging, or sliding. Even further, the Kerenzikov will slow down time for a brief period when aiming during a dodge, dash, or slide, making for a solid piece of cyberware to equip.

Second Heart

A Item To Save Players From Death

With all the dangers present in Night City, players are going to be using healing items often. While there is a range of healing items that can be used, the Second Heart cyberware gives users a second chance.

When the health of a player reaches zero, the Second Heart will instantly restore this amount back to max, keeping players in the fight. This does have quite a long cooldown, so it is most likely the effect will only happen once per battle, but it is nonetheless a powerful item to keep equipped no matter where.

An Item To Keep Uptime On Cyberware

Cyberware can be extremely powerful items in Cyberpunk 2077. With a range of different items with various effects to use, some of the strongest come with cooldowns on their abilities.

The Axolotl is another piece of cyberware that can help reduce these cooldown penalties. Whenever a player defeats an enemy, the Axolotl reduces the cooldown of all cyberware pieces, varying from 5 and 7.5 seconds. When used with other powerful cyberware, such as a sandevistan or a berserk, it turns into a crucial item to keep equipped.

Reinforced Tendons

A Cyberware That Allows Double Jumping

There are a couple of leg cyberware available to players in Cyberpunk 2077. The leg cyberware all offer some excellent chrome, but the Reinforced Tendons provide a simple yet incredibly useful ability when traversing Night City.

The Reinforced Tendons allow players to double jump, which can help travel through Night City quickly, gain advantages over opponents in combat, negate fall damage, and just in general, is a superb item to equip.

A Cyberdeck

An Item With So Many Applications

Out of all the operating system cyberware, cyberdecks are the ones with the most utility. Sandevistans might have the most popularity, and berserks can be ridiculously powerful, but cyberdecks have so many applications throughout the game, as well as being very strong themselves.

Meanwhile, some guns to have would be the Ba Xing Chong or Dezerter for shotgun builds, Pride or Death and Taxes for pistol builds, or the Barghest version of the Warden or the Chesapeake for a build utilizing smart weapons.
