The big day has finally arrived, as after a short teaser a few months ago, Nintendo is ready to reveal more details on the Switch 2 console in this livestream. So far, we know that this will be a direct successor to the original Switch, one that continues to offer a hybrid approach to gaming with its handheld and docked modes.
But beyond that? We still have many questions about the Switch 2, pertaining to its price, release date, and the games that’ll accompany it when it does hit store shelves. We also want to find out about the supposed mouse functionality of the console’s Joy-Con controllers, if the device will be home to a rumored library of GameCube classics, and what will make Switch 2 games different. You can also look forward to two more days of livestreams, as Nintendo says it will show off more details on Switch 2 games on April 3 and 4.
Hopefully, this Nintendo Direct will provide those answers. We’ll be covering all the reveals from the event–which is scheduled to run for 60 minutes–as they’re announced, so in case you can’t watch it, you can hit your F5 key for fresh updates.
