If you’re among those who want to flaunt their skills and make full use of what complicated kits have to offer, you’ll likely gravitate towards those with higher skill floors and higher skill ceilings. If you’re looking for the hardest Heroes in MLBB and want to try your hand at one of them yourself, here are some of the most difficult Heroes to master.

Wanwan
- Role: Marksman
- Lane: Gold Lane
Each Hero’s Ultimate is the strongest tool in their arsenal, letting them execute their foes or change the tides of battle with the tap of a single button. Of the many game-changing Ultimates in the game, Wanwan’s is one of the strongest, essentially letting her go immune as she 1v5s an entire team and comes out on top.
Wanwan’s passive allows her to reposition after every attack. Mastering this lets you unlock your Ultimate more often.
Fortunately, this level of destruction isn’t unconditional; Wanwan’s Ultimate is locked behind her passive. To be able to use it on any target, she has
to hit them from three different directions, including their back. While marksmen in MLBB are usually some of the easiest Heroes to play mechanically, this becomes an extremely difficult condition to fulfill if you’re facing multiple enemies. Still, so long as you make the most of her dashes, you’ll get those sweet team wipes fairly often.

Yi Sun-Shin
- Role: Marksman/Assassin
- Lane: Jungle/Gold Lane
Most characters have you choose between fighting fist-to-face at melee range or using projectiles and keeping your distance. Unfortunately, when you’re at war, you don’t have the option of choosing your specialty; a competent leader always has to be prepared for anything, at any distance.
For Yi Sun-Shin, or YSS for short, you not only have the ability to switch between weapons, but are rewarded for doing so. Each time you switch between your blade and longbow, you buff your next two normal attacks to deal more damage and critically strike. Chaining these repeatedly to always have your buff active is integral to mastering Yi Sun-Shin, and paired with his abilities having multiple uses and CC negation, as well as a largely non-combative Ultimate, Yi Sun-Shin is a very difficult Hero to master.

Ling
- Role: Assassin
- Lane: Jungle
Ling has long been one of Mobile Legends’s best assassins due to his mobility being the strongest in the game, only below Fanny’s. His ability to jump across terrain makes him impossible to catch and run away from, and his seemingly infinite dashes on his skill two make him even more difficult to not die to.
An expert Ling player can dash straight into your team and use his Ultimate to render themselves immune to all damage, executing their full combo in a second and then leaping away after having killed multiple allies of yours before you can even react. While Ling certainly is difficult to master, learning his Ultimate combo gets you one step closer to four-shotting the enemy team.

Joy
- Role: Assassin
- Lane: Jungle/EXP Lane
If you’re a big fan of rhythm games, Joy might be a character who comes naturally to you. Unfortunately, for those of us who don’t play such games much, mastering Joy requires you to learn a different genre of game entirely as you time your skills in-tune with the music playing from her skills.
Unlike Wanwan, you can still use your Ultimate even if you haven’t used all your dashes. However, it’d deal less damage.
Joy is a burst assassin that resets her dashes on hitting an enemy. Each time you time these dashes properly, you gain tons of buffs, increase your damage, and most importantly, buff your Ultimate. If you manage to time all four of these skills correctly, the damage you deal with your Ultimate can wipe out entire teams by you just running through them.

Gusion
- Role: Assassin
- Lane: Jungle
While many use blades, sometimes one just isn’t enough when going against the strongest of creatures in the Land of Dawn. Fortunately, Gusion has access to ten daggers that he can both shoot out and pull back in, giving him an unprecedented edge over his foes.
However, mastering one blade is enough of a chore by itself, and making full use of everything that Gusion has in his arsenal requires hundreds of matches before you get used to his skills, combos, and various dashes. With a way out of any situation, Gusion’s difficulty is justifiable, as he’s one of the strongest assassins in Mobile Legends: Bang Bang.

Benedetta
- Role: Assassin/Fighter
- Lane: EXP Lane
Sometimes, just three skills aren’t enough. Sometimes, even three dashes aren’t enough. Why restrict yourself to such limited means when you can dash with each normal attack, make use of skill and on-hit effects at once with your dashes, and do away with the need for movement speed entirely?
Benedetta is one of the fastest characters in ML, having a dash in each of her skills and then an unlimited amount of movement skills from her special normal attack. This makes her extremely difficult to catch as she glides across the battlefield, and her having the ability to negate any damage and parry Crowd Control skills if you time her abilities correctly makes her even better. If you’re willing to invest the time and effort into mastering a Hero, Benedetta will be one that you’d benefit most from.

Chou
- Role: Fighter
- Lane: EXP Lane
The more tools you give a character, the easier they should become to play. However, if you give them too many skills, sometimes the sheer number of possibilities does them a disservice, requiring a brain that can process all of these to play them well. Chou has about six different skills to use, all with multiple effects.

Chou’s first skill has three phases, all dealing damage and slowing enemies, with the last one knocking targets up into the air. Then, Chou has a second skill that negates any damage and CC and gives him bonus damage. If Chou knocks any enemy up with his first skill, he resets the cooldown of his second, giving him another chance to negate Crowd Control effects, and even more damage. All of this would already make Chou an amazing, albeit very difficult, character to play, but his Ultimate serving as one of the strongest Crowd Control tools makes him a bit too strong.

Fanny
- Role: Assassin
- Lane: Jungle
If we’re talking about ML’s hardest Heroes to master, not many would disagree with Fanny being at the top. She’s an assassin with a level of agility and movement that is simply unparalleled in any MOBA, not just Mobile Legends. This exclusivity isn’t just about her movement, though, as her difficulty is also a cut above the rest.
The practice tool is your best friend when getting used to Fanny. Memorizing your skill two compositions in specific map areas lets you develop the muscle memory necessary to playing Fanny.
The reason behind this lies in Fanny’s second skill. By itself, it’s a simple skill that shoots out a rope, pulling you to the target location. What makes this so difficult is that you can use multiple ropes at once, directing your movement while keeping geometry and net force vectors in mind. If all of this doesn’t seem difficult enough already, you’re supposed to calculate all of this in real-time while you’re propelling yourself at mach speeds across the enemy team.
