The Fortnite Scorpion boss update has officially gone live across all the platforms. As a result, you can jump into the battle royale match to face off against this brand new enemy and get exclusive weapons such as Scorpion’s Kombat Mythic Kit and its branded medallion designed to give you special powers.
Unfortunately, Scorpion’s location isn’t fixed, which is why many players are having a hard time locating this boss on the map. So if you want to enjoy all these benefits, here’s how you can find Scorpion boss and obtain the Kombat Mythic Kit and medallion.
Where to find Scorpion Boss in Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 2
Scorpion Boss can only be found in the battle royale match at one of the following three POIs:
- Flooded Frogs
- Masked Meadows
- Shining Span Bridge

When Scorpion Boss spawns on the map, you’ll see his medallion floating around the minimap, which pinpoints his exact location. So one thing you have to do is keep checking the minimap after every few minutes to trace Scorpion’s location. Once you’re able to locate him, simply head to the POI to initiate a battle against him.
How to get Scorpion’s Kombat Kit and Scorpion’s Medallion in Fortnite

To get Scorpion’s Kombat Kit and Scorpion’s Medallion, you’ll have to defeat the Scorpion boss. The boss is equipped with a variety of high damage output attacks, with one being the chain attack, which deals the most damage. The best way to tackle him is by taking a long-range fight, which essentially creates a barrier for the boss and prevents him from attacking you. Also make sure you bring sufficient heals and other essential supplies, as you might find other Fortnite players who are also on the lookout for the Scorpion’s Kombat Kit and Scorpion’s Medallion.
Once you defeat the boss, he will drop the following items:
- First Blood Medallion
- Scorpion’s Kombat Kit (Mythic)
- Collateral Damage Assault Rifle (Epic)
- Chug Jug
Scorpion’s Kombat Kit in Fortnite
When it comes to the Scorpion’s Kombat Kit, it features three different attacks. The first one is Punch, which deals 20 damage if you have an Epic version and 25 if you own a Mythic one, which is obtained from the boss. The other two moves are the Fire Breath attack and the Throw Spear attack. While the former isn’t useful for most of the situation, we highly encourage you to utilize the Throw Spear Attack, which not only deals approx. 40 damage but also comes with the ability to drag opponents closer.
Combine this move with an S-tier shotgun to easily crush your enemies during battles.
Scorpion’s Medallion
Finally, the Scorpion’s Medallion isn’t a game-breaking item, as all it does is grant you a small damage bonus to the first shot of every bullet from a magazine. But if you miss the first bullet, you have to reload the magazine and try again. We believe that getting Scorpion’s Medallion isn’t worthwhile, as it reveals your location and only provides you a small damage boost.
