Apart from making your products and delivering them around, there are other mischievous things you can get up to that will help put money in your pockets. One thing you can do is go around picking the pockets of unfortunate townspeople.
How To Pickpocket
To pick someone’s pocket, you will first need to crouch by hitting the ctrl button on your keyboard. Get behind your target and when you’re close enough, a prompt allowing you to pickpocket them should pop up.
When the option pops up, hit E on your keyboard to begin the pickpocketing mini-game. Their pockets will be visible to you as several inventory slots on your screen. An item you can steal will be behind a lock icon.
You will see a tiny arrow moving underneath a bar which will be colored red or green in certain spots. You need to hit spacebar to stop the arrow from moving when it lands exactly underneath the green sections.
Stopping the arrow under a red section will alert your target, and they may either call the police or attack you.
When you successfully stop the arrow under a green section, the item above it will be unlocked and you can freely drag it to your own inventory without your target noticing.
If the target has several items, you simply need to succeed in the mini-game again to unlock the others.
If you pick someone’s pocket when the police are nearby, they will take notice and may investigate.
Pickpocketing is a great way to earn extra cash and items, but you can also do this to steal back products you sell to your customers. Doing so for the first time will earn you an achievement.
