Nintendo recently announced 13 third-party games that will come to the Switch 2. This list of Nintendo Switch 2 third-party titles includes some highly popular games such as Elden Ring: Tarnished Edition, Hogwarts Legacy, and more.

Ever since the Switch 2 was announced, gamers have been eager to discover what games would come to the platform, and the recent Nintendo Direct answered their questions, showcasing many exciting titles that will be launched for the console. The Switch 2 will be out on June 5, and it will cost $449.99 by itself, or $499.99 in a bundle with Mario Kart World, an open-world entry to the popular racing series.

Nintendo Switch 2 Pre-Order Date Confirmed

Nintendo confirms the exact date that Nintendo Switch 2 consoles will be available for pre-order.

During the Nintendo Direct, popular games such as Elden Ring: Tarnished Edition, Hades 2, Hogwarts Legacy, Hitman World of Assassination: Signature Edition, and Street Fighter 6 were announced for the Switch 2. Other third-party titles that will appear on the platform include Bravely Default: Flying Fairy HD Remaster, Daemon X Machina, EA Sports FC 25, Madden NFL 2025, Split Fiction, Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 + 4, Yakuza 0: Director’s Cut, and the upcoming Project 007, a James Bond game.

These were only some of the popular third-party games to be announced for the Switch 2 during the recent Nintendo Direct, though. Games such as Borderlands 4, Civilization 7, Cyberpunk 2077, Enter the Gungeon 2, and Final Fantasy 7 Remake Intergrade were other highlights of the event, which also featured more information about the upcoming console’s specs.

That’s not to say that the Nintendo Switch 2 will be lacking in first-party titles. Mario Kart World will be a launch title with open-world features that will allow up to 24 players to race at the same time. Nintendo also unveiled Donkey Kong Bananza, a 3D platformer with highly destructible environments. Donkey Kong Bananza will be released on July 17 on the Switch 2, and it promises to be one of the first major first-party titles for the console.

The Legend of Zelda fans will also be glad to know that Nintendo announced Hyrule Warriors: Age of Imprisonment during the event. The upcoming hack-and-slash game will be a prequel to Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, released in 2023, which quickly became a Switch bestseller. While the game does not have an exact release date yet, it’s expected that Hyrule Warriors: Age of Imprisonment will be out in Winter 2025. Hopefully, these titles will give future Switch 2 owners plenty of high-quality games to choose from soon after the new hardware launches.
