InZOI: How To Find The Gym

Gyms are a great place for Zois to work out and level up their Fitness skill, and knowing where gyms are located in InZOI is the first step.

As it’s not currently possible to switch cities during a playthrough, players will want to look at the pros and cons of each location, and decide which is the best InZOI city for their Zois. This list will break down the various factors to consider, helping players to make their decision.

Cities Have Unique Careers In InZOI

An Important Factor For Career-Focused Zois

  • Dowon Unique Careers: K-pop Idol, Firefighter, Pro Gamer, Street Soldier, Entertainment Planning, Convenience Store, Deli
  • Bliss Bay unique careers: Amusement Park, Furniture Store, Football Player, Gangster, Surf Shop, Golden Apple Burger

One of the biggest factors to consider when choosing a city in InZOI is the available careers. As Zois typically work three days of the week and their personality may be built around their career, players don’t want to pick a city where their favorite job isn’t available. There are some standard careers, such as law and reporting, which are present in all cities, but many jobs are unique.

The main ones to look at are the active jobs in each city, as players will get to engage with tasks, coworkers, and customers, rather than being sent off the map for the day, as is the case with ‘rabbit hole’ jobs. The active jobs in Dowon are Idol Trainee and Firefighter, as well as two part-time jobs at the Convenience Store and the Deli. Bliss Bay, on the other hand, has active jobs at the Amusement Park and the Furniture Store, on top of part-time jobs at the Surf Shop and the Golden Apple Burger.

City Attractions In InZOI

These Are Things To Do, Meaning Unique Gameplay Opportunities

  • Dowon Highlights: Gaming cafe, karaoke, and tarot card reading.
  • Bliss Bay Highlights: Amusement park, surfing, volleyball, and the beach.

Outside of job opportunities, the biggest gameplay factor in choosing a city will be the attractions. In each city, there are simply different things for Zois to do in their free time. Here, Bliss Bay appears to have the advantage, allowing players to ride rollercoasters and even surf the waves in InZOI. There’s simply more fun to be had here, especially for thrill seekers.

However, there is still a lot going on in the bustling metropolis of Dowon, with standout attractions being the Plesio Gaming Cafe, as well a Coin Booth Karaoke. Thankfully, whichever city players select, there are lots of attractions that all cities have. For example, both Dowon and Bliss Bay have libraries and an art gallery, which might excite Zois depending on their selected Preferences.

City Aesthetics In InZOI

Choose A City Based On How It Looks

Outside of gameplay and available content, the visuals of each city in InZOI will naturally factor into players’ decisions. Of course, everyone has their preferences, and there are no right or wrong answers. Some players may prefer the urban design of Dowon, which is based on Korean cities, while others may prefer the openness and beach of Bliss Bay, which is inspired by cities on the west coast of America.

Thankfully, in this game full of customization options, there is also the ability to edit each city in InZOI. While this can include gameplay elements, it also involves editing the appearance of each city. Options include foliage, animals, overall cleanliness, and even custom billboards.

Cities Have Different Weather In InZOI

Experience The Four Seasons Of Dowon Or Eternal Sun In Bliss Bay

In some ways, the changing weather in InZOI could be seen as fitting under the ‘aesthetics’ umbrella, but there are also gameplay elements to the weather in InZOI. If players want more of a challenge and to fully experience the highs and lows of the four seasons in Korea, then Dowon is the city for them. The local Zois will need to change outfits regularly to avoid freezing to death or overheating.

Bliss Bay, on the other hand, experiences the sun all year round, meaning Zois can almost always walk around in their summer attire or even swimwear when heading down to the beach. The weather can be temporarily changed for the day if players want to experience rare rain or snow in Bliss Pay. This is in the Edit City options.

Cities Have Different Houses & Architecture In InZOI

The Type Of House Players Want Their Zoi To Live In Depends On The City

Another factor to consider when deciding on a city is the architecture, specifically the houses and apartments where Zois live. Of course, players are free to design their own homes from scratch by purchasing a plot of land, but if they opt for a prebuilt house, it will be in the style of the city.

In the large city of Dowon, dominated by skyscrapers, players will typically find apartment buildings, but there are some fancier places to live. Alternatively, in Bliss Bay, the architecture is completely different, with homes often being single-story, featuring lots of exterior space.
