Players can find and challenge Scorpion to a fight, where the winner is granted the Scorpion Kombat Kit and the powerful First Blood Medallion, but where exactly does Scorpion spawn in Fortnite, and how can a player so easily beat the unbeatable foe?
Where to Find Scorpion in Fortnite
Scorpion is exclusive to the Battle Royale map, and he will only spawn at three specific landmarks that have arrived for April 1, 2025’s update. Scorpion can be found at the following locations:
- The Pit: A bridge found between Overlook Lighthouse and Salty Docks, east of Shining Span.
- The Living Forest: Found between Whiffy Wharf and Flooded Frogs in the forest where Sleepwalker’s Peril used to be.
- Dead Pool: An underground landmark found in Masked Meadows, underneath the Masked Motorway Bank.
All of these areas are open to players, but Scorpion will only spawn at one location per match, much like Fletcher Kane does with the vaults. To know where Scorpion has spawned, it’s best to stay on the Battle Bus and check the map until his Medallion appears to expose his location. Once players venture to his location, they can activate the boss fight by interacting with the dong that can be found in the arena, which will spawn Scorpion and immediately begin the fight against him.
How to Beat Scorpion in Fortnite
Scorpion has featured in decades of Mortal Kombat games, so it’s no surprise that he knows how to throw down and dirty. Facing Scorpion isn’t going to be easy, as he will use his large health pool, size, and the arena to his advantage. However, players can utilize a few tricks to make easy work of him, and some attacks to stay aware of to make for useful tips when battling him to the death.
Before fighting Scorpion, it is essential that players have Shields at the ready and a few magazines ready from their preferred weapons. Since Scorpion is a melee brawler, try to use Assault Rifles and SMGs, as weapons with range and scopes will provide players with an advantage against a boss battle who only uses his fists.
At every arena where Scorpion spawns, players can also pick up Sub-Zero’s Kombat Kit so that they can enjoy the thrills of a 1v1 brawl. While this provides reliable and effective damage, it can be extremely risky, as arenas like The Pit feature very narrow walkways where one kick from Scorpion will send players off the cliff to their deaths, so it’s best to fight from a distance in these arenas.
As far as attacks go, Scorpion will aggressively growl as he shoots a fiery burst towards the player if they refuse to get close to him. This is an easy attack to avoid, as is Scorpion’s other attack, the spear, which sees him pull players towards him to brawl with his fists and fire breath. Once Scorpion has been eliminated, he drops the following:
- First Blood Medallion
- Scorpion’s Kombat Kit (Mythic)
- Collateral Damage Assault Rifle (Epic)

Scorpion’s Kombat Kit can be acquired through two different ways, but each of them are guaranteed to drop a version of the Scorpion’s Kombat Kit. The first way involves visiting any of the three arenas where Scorpion can be found. If Scorpion is not at any of these three locations, then an Epic variant of the Scorpion’s Kombat Kit will be found here, which is a purple rarity version of the melee weapon that has a durability bar, and deals less damage with its attacks, but only by 5 points.
The second way that players can obtain a Scorpion’s Kombat Kit involves fighting and beating Scorpion himself, an NPC who will only spawn at one of three specific landmarks in a match. The Mythic variant of the Scorpion’s Kombat Kit has no durability, meaning it can be used infinitely, and it also deals 5+ damage to every attack over the Epic variant.

How to Get the First Blood Medallion in Fortnite

The First Blood Medallion is Scorpion’s Medallion and can only be acquired by defeating Scorpion and looting it from his body once it drops. As far as Medallions go, it’s not the best, but it’s worth having to those who have managed to beat this boss fight. All this Medallion does is provide a small damage bonus to the first shot of every bullet from a magazine. However, if players miss the first shot, then they will have to reload and try again if they want to get that explosion effect to happen, as it’s not the first shot on target, but the first bullet from a magazine that counts.
