The ninth set in the Scarlet & Violet series of Pokemon TCG, Journey Together, revolves around Trainers and their partner Pokemon. Journey Together has some very special Secret Rare cards hidden in its packs, and if you want them all in one place, we got you covered.

Additionally, cards from the Japanese Battle Partners expansion are included. With the release of Journey Together, many different products were announced. But which one is right for you? In this guide, we break down everything included in each product from this set.

Booster Packs

In the Journey Together series, each booster pack contains a total of ten cards and one Energy card, just like all other booster packs. These cards all belong to the Journey Together set.

Additionally, don’t forget that every booster pack includes a code card that can be used in Pokemon TCG Live.

If you are a collector, you may prefer sleeved booster packs instead of regular booster packs. However, aside from packaging, the contents of regular and sleeved booster packs are identical.

Booster Display

If purchasing just one booster pack isn’t enough for you and you want even more, then the product you should go for is the Booster Display—also known as a booster box. This product contains a total of 36 booster packs, which means that purchasing it will give you 396 cards in total. Among these, 36 will be Energy cards, while the rest will be non-Energy cards.

If your goal is to find valuable cards, then buying a booster display is a reasonable choice. Additionally, you can opt for the Enhanced Booster Display Box version. This version includes an extra promo card, which is a rare-style card: N’s Reshiram.

Booster Bundle

If you’re not looking to buy just a single booster pack but also find the Booster Display too expensive or excessive, and you don’t want to purchase 36 booster packs, then the Booster Bundle is the perfect middle-ground option for you. Each Booster Bundle contains six booster packs, adding up to a total of 66 cards, six of which are Energy cards.

Build & Battle Box

If your goal is not just to open booster packs but to directly build a deck and start playing, then the Build & Battle Box is the product for you. This box contains a 40-card pre-constructed deck. In addition to this deck, you will receive one of four unique promo cards, which are:

  • N’s Darmanitan
  • Iono’s Kilowattrel
  • Lillie’s Ribombee
  • Hop’s Snorlax

Each Build & Battle Box contains a deck made up of two different Pokémon groups out of the four possible ones. This 40-card deck includes 17 Energy cards. Furthermore, this box also includes four booster packs. Each booster pack comes with a code card for Pokemon TCG Live. Additionally, the box itself contains an extra code card.

This box can also be used for storage—it can hold nearly 100 unsleeved cards or about 60 sleeved cards.

Elite Trainer Box

The Elite Trainer Box contains a total of nine booster packs, meaning you will receive 99 cards in total. Additionally, this box includes a Full Art Foil Promo Card, which is N’s Zorua. On top of that, the Elite Trainer Box comes with 45 Energy cards.

Beyond just cards, the Elite Trainer Box also contains 65 card sleeves featuring an illustration of N and his partner Pokémon, Zoroark. Other included accessories:

  • Six damage counter dice, which are teal-colored
  • One competition-legal coin flip die
  • Two plastic condition markers for Poisoned and Burned conditions

This box is also great for storing your cards, as it includes four dividers to help keep everything organized. In addition to the nine code cards from the booster packs, there is also one extra code card included in the box, making for a total of ten code cards that can be used in Pokemon TCG Live.

Pokemon Center Elite Trainer Box

The differences between the Pokemon Center Elite Trainer Box and the regular Elite Trainer Box are minimal.

  1. The Pokemon Center Elite Trainer Box contains 11 booster packs, while the regular version has nine booster packs.
  2. This version includes two Full Art Foil Promo Cards instead of one. Both of these are N’s Zorua, but one of them features the Pokemon Center logo, which is absent from the regular Elite Trainer Box.
