Team Spirit Declined Their Invitation to DreamLeague Season 26
Even though the organizers behind DreanLeague Season 26 decided to invite one of the best teams in Eastern Europe, the latter declined the invitation. We do not really know the exact reasons behind it, but considering the most recent roster changes, it might be because the team wants to take a break to avoid Dota 2 burnout.
Even though there is no DPC anymore, the Dota 2 professional scene is packed with events. It seems like some teams have decided to “choose their battles” carefully because they want the players to feel okay.
Another reason why Team Spirit may have decided to decline the invitation is because of their slots for the Riyadh Masters 2025. The EEU powerhouse secured their slots for this event after winning DreamLeague Season 25 around a month ago.
Team Liquid Will Take Spirit’s Place
Even though we won’t be able to see one of the best Dota 2 teams in Eastern Europe, fans will be happy that Team Liquid will take Spirit’s slot. Known as one of the most consistent teams in the last couple of years, Liquid always achieves solid results results.
There is still time until DreamLeague Season 26, however, because Liquid’s next big challenge is ESL One Raleigh 2025. The tournament stats are just a few days for now, so don’t forget to check all of the Dota 2 betting opportunities related to it.
