RuneScape: Dragonwilds Release Date

RuneScape: Dragonwilds doesn’t currently have a set release date, and instead will use an Early Access system before the full release. We’ll share more details as soon as we have them.

RuneScape: Dragonwilds Details

Revealed on March 31, with an announcement article, Steam page, and trailer, RuneScape: Dragonwilds is the newest game from Jagex, the creators of RuneScape. However, the game will step away from the usual MMO format, and instead dive into the survival crafting genre.

Alongside four friends, you’ll be able to explore the forgotten continent of Ashenfall, build structures, gain skills (just like RuneScape), and attempt to survive in a world where dragons return.

The end game will see you battle bosses, including the deadly Dragon Queen. The game can be played solo or with friends, and will feature unique crafting and building mechanics that remind players of the traditional RuneScape gameplay, but also will be familiar for veterans of the survival crafting genre.

“Hello, Gielinor!

We’re so delighted to finally be able to introduce you to RuneScape: Dragonwilds. An all-new, standalone co-op survival game in the RuneScape universe. An undiscovered continent has emerged from the veil with a promise of adventure.”

More details will reportedly be available from April 15 when a livestream from Jagex will reveal more.

The game is expected to come to Early Access in 2025, with a full release later.
