Summary
- Marvel Rivals’ new pick-up bundle was mistakingly listed as a “freebie” for some players.
- Anyone who got it for free is now having it removed from their accounts.
- They also lost any items they had unlocked and any progress they had made.
Marvel Rivals rolled out a new mini-battle pass last week with the pick-up bundle. This let players earn more rewards, like skins and currency, but was perhaps best known for the bright orange Venom skin – perfectly pairing with the new twerking emote.
The bundle is supposed to set you back $2.99, but as it turns out, some players were able to get it at no cost at all. Over on Reddit, players showed that the bundle was listed as a “freebie” on their screens, and true enough, hitting the purchase button did not charge their account.

It would’ve been fine if it had been a male character.
If this seemed too good to be true, it’s because it is. Now, anyone who “bought” the pick-up bundle for free is having it taken away from them, including any of the items they had unlocked from it. Worse yet, it also removes any progress you had made in the bundle, so if you buy it legitimately, you’ll have to start unlocking everything all over again.
Sorry Marvel Rivals Players, This Bundle Wasn’t Free After All
Those who got the bundle for free are now logging in to find the message you can see above, informing them that the bundle and any unlocked items have been removed from their account.
Considering that affected players seemingly didn’t even have the option to buy it legitimately, it must be frustrating for those who had already been grinding away at the mini-battle pass. But at the very least, the bundle isn’t on a timer once purchased, so you’re not in any rush to get the goods once more. Twerking orange Venoms for all.
