After starting Schedule 1 for the first time, you’ll learn just how important cars are in the very beginning as the game allows you to use one during the prologue. However, you won’t have any cars under your name when you start the actual game, and you can’t get one for quite a while.

Schedule 1: How To Move Faster In Early Game
Most of your gameplay in Schedule 1 is moving from one place to another, and you can make it much faster in the early game with a skateboard.
Having your own car makes a big difference as you not only get to travel much faster across the map, but also get extra storage slots. If you’re looking to get yourself a shiny new car, here’s everything you have to do.
Scheduler 1 is currently in Early Access, and the content mentioned in this article is subject to change.
How To Buy A Car In Schedule 1
After the prologue ends, you’ll enter a small town with no contacts as the game asks you to build your empire from scratch. After progressing enough in the main quest and getting yourself ten customers, you’ll get a quest to talk to three different NPCs, and one of them will be the salesman in Hyland Auto.
This shop can be found on the southern side of the map, just above where you see the marker for your now-burnt RV. One look at Hyland Auto’s showroom and you’ll quickly realize that this is the place where you’ll get your car. However, they don’t come cheap. The cars in the showroom will cost you one of these amounts:
The Sh*tbox |
$5,000 |
---|---|
The Veeper |
$9,000 |
The Bruiser |
$12,000 |
The Dinkler |
$15,000 |
The Hounddog |
$25,000 |
The Cheetah |
$40,000 |
You can only buy cars with the money deposited inside your card, which means you’ll likely have to get some laundering going before you think of purchasing one.
How To Use Your Car
Once you purchase the car from Hyland Auto, it’ll appear just outside the shop’s door. You can then simply sit inside this car and drive it. You can’t move your camera around while inside but it automatically snaps to the direction you’re moving in.
If you’re looking for some extra storage, you can go to the back of your car and find a few slots in the trunk. These can be very useful when you’re planning to buy packaging, soil, mixture items, or seeds in bulk.
How To Unstuck And Paint Your Car
While taking your car out on a ride, there might be times when you forget it somewhere or drive it down a ditch where you can’t drive back up. In these scenarios, you can easily recover your car by heading back to the Hyland Auto showroom.
In front of this building, you’ll see a garage called Auto Shop. Talk to the NPC inside this garage and you’ll have the option to get your car back. After choosing this option, your car will be teleported outside the garage. You can also paint your car in any color at this shop.
