I’m convinced that Larian keeps adding new dialogues and instances to Baldur’s Gate 3 while we’re not looking. There’s no other explanation for why players are still finding new content after two years of the game’s launch. Whether it’s a flirty dialogue by a Crone or a hidden interaction if you approach a goblin in owlbear form, there’s tons of stuff that players are still digging up.

We’re gonna be talking about this game for a decade and more.
At some point, the devs have got to tell us when each and every instance or line of dialogue has been discovered and there’s nothing else to find. But, until then, the community has made it its mission to unearth every bit of content that the game has to offer. This latest instance revolves around annoying your companions too much.
If You Do The Poke, You Might Get The Joke
While it doesn’t take much for your companions to get annoyed – Astarion disapproves of almost any good deed – it seems constantly poking them in various situations will result in some unique dialogues, which will vary based on the situation you’re in. To get your mind out of the gutter, by ‘poking’ I mean clicking on their character portrait until the generic dialogue is exhausted and they say something funny.
Some unique and hilarious dialogues were catalogued by the-soul-of-wit on Reddit, and they have explained how you can do so too:
“Today, after 500+ hours of gameplay, 75+ hours into my 4th playthrough (and first time playing Durge), I discovered that you can “poke” your party members by repeatedly selecting their character portraits. Usually, after about 10 times of hearing the standard transitional lines of dialogue that the characters use when selected (“Blade at the ready,” “My faith will guide me,” “Indolence breeds madness,” etc.), the selected character would give one final line that was entirely unique and had never shown up before, and then wouldn’t say anything more afterward.”
Some of the lines they discovered are: “groan Must be the tadpole,” by Tav, “More like Drizzt Don’t-urden—no, no. N-no, that’s not funny,” by Astarion, “Unwise, perhaps, to poke a bear this much,” by Halsin, and “Where there’s a Wyll, there’s a Y,” by Wyll.
Humour was never the strong suit of the BG3 party, but annoy them a bit too much, and you’ll get a terrible one-liner out of them.
