The anime begins with heartbreak for Dahlia, as her fiance leaves her for someone else on the day of their wedding. With such a somber beginning, love and romance are out of the equation for Dahlia. This means that no harem antics can creep in. While the anime adaptation of the original light novel has undergone a few tonal changes, coupled with a slightly altered title, Dahlia in Bloom is still a solid addition to the expansive isekai landscape.
