Developed by Explosive Squat Games and published by HypeTrain Digital, Intravenous is a 2D stealth action game that was originally released in July 2021. While its creators describe it as “a love letter to [the] early Splinter Cell games,” Intravenous is just as likely to appeal to fans of Hotline Miami, not least because of its top-down perspective, merciless difficulty, and a gameplay loop revolving around trial and error. It has over 2,000 “Very Positive” Steam reviews as of late March 2025.

Licensed key reseller Fanatical started giving away Intravenous in late March 2025. The newly launched promotion is planned to run for just a few days, ending no later than Monday, March 31, at 7am PT / 10am ET / 4pm CET. Alternatively, the offer might also conclude sooner, as the giveaway only has 50,000 Steam keys available. Regularly priced at $19.99, Intravenous was already free to claim on Steam back in July 2024, but only for 24 hours.
Game Rant’s testing suggests that anyone who takes advantage of the ongoing offer also automatically qualifies for an added bonus: a 10% off coupon for select bundles. This promo code is single-use, but it’s only applied at checkout, meaning it can still be leveraged to discount multiple bundles that Fanatical is currently offering. The retailer didn’t specify which products are compatible with the coupon, but it’s currently offering several likely eligible items, including a customizable collection of Capcom games that lets users build their own bundle. Several so-called mystery bundles with unknown contents are also presently available via Fanatical.
