PUBG Mobile is continuing to roll with its big seventh anniversary. And in time for April Fools’ Day, Level Infinite chose to release a fun little surprise for the players. The recent April Fools’ update is effectively the second wave of the current 3.7 version and frankly, it’s full of silly, fun features that are designed to liven up your regular PUBG Mobile runs. Let’s jump into what’s new in this wacky update.

What’s New in the PUBG Mobile April Fools’ Update?

Hand Sight

First off, we have the Hand Sight—arguably the craziest scope you will ever lay your eyes on. You can only get it on the Golden Dynasty mode, and the look? It’s a hand doing gestures instead of the reticle as you take aim. The pointed fingers assist you in aiming while you switch between 1x and 4x scope, showing expressive gestures to interact with enemies.

Veteran PUBG Mobile players will likely have fun and find this one fun to play with. However, if you’re still new to the game, don’t expect to be able to aim as well with this one. Nevertheless, this scope makes every moment fun, engaging and sometimes unpredictable for the user.

In case you missed it, the ongoing PUBG Mobile x Godzilla collab is also happening simultaneously with this April Fools’ patch. There’s loads of great stuff to unlock including gun skins, car skins, a buddy, and more.

Rocket Pillow

This update also brings the Rocket Pillow. This is a melee launch weapon that players can use to throw enemies and teammates up in the air. To use this, players have to aim, charge, and use the fire button in melee range.

This launches the target up in the air only to hit the ground in a stunned and oddly funny fashion. You can easily eliminate enemies in this phase during close quarter fights. This is a fun and chaotic way to take close-range fights or just to have fun with teammates.

PUBG Mobile April Fools’ Update Brings Shawarma

Yes, the game now includes Shawarma as a consumable for energy. You’ll carry it in your inventory during games and eating one will provide a burst of energy.

But there’s a caveat—you can’t just pick them up. You must cook up these Shawarmas through in-game events from menu, outside of the actual match. There are three types of them based on cooking time are available—10, 15, and 30 seconds. The longer you cook it, the more energy it gives you when you eat it. So, it’s definitely worth the wait!

The new update has already dropped on March 28, 2025. If you’re interested in more PUBG Mobile content, don’t forget to check out details about the full 3.7 update, like Golden Dynasty mode changes.
