Warhammer 40k: Space Marine 2 continuously receives more content, with the most recent patch introducing more weapons and cosmetics. This endeavor will no doubt prove to be a massive expansion of the current game due to its renowned success. While every fan has their wish list of things to be included in the upcoming release, many are focused on the possible worlds that may be added to the game. Here are some planets that would be perfect for Warhammer 40k: Space Marine 3.
8
Valhalla
A Frozen Tundra, Home To Fierce Warriors
Located in the Ultima Segmentum, the world of Valhalla sits as a glacial planet classified as a civilized world by the Imperium. With harsh temperatures reaching dozens of degrees below zero, it is inhabitable to most life. However, there is civilization here, as Valhalla is home to the legendary Ice Warriors.

Warhammer 40K: Strongest Orks, Ranked
Orks are some of the strongest units in Warhammer 40K, and these are some of the best ranked ones to pick from.
Known for their tenacity and strength, the Ice Warriors are formidable soldiers loyal to the Emperor who have seized victory in monumental battles throughout history. Valhalla has rich lore and would be a great change of pace from the steel cities and ravaged lands of the worlds found in Warhammer 40k Space Marine 2.
7
Cretacia
A Prehistoric Hellscape Of The Imperium
In the grim, dark future of Warhammer 40k lies a planet that holds on to the ancient history of Terra. A tropic planet where every cubic inch seeks to kill any non-native organism with no remorse. Classified as a Death World, Cretacia is home to vicious wildlife similar to colossal dinosaur-like beasts and lethal fauna.
Completely inhabitable, Cretacia is home to the Flesh Tearers space marine chapter, who are among the most vicious and violent factions of the Imperium. The Flesh Tearers and the Behemoths of Cretacia would be an epic addition to the next Space Marine game.
6
Necromunda
A Planet-Sized Armory
Necromunda is a Hive World that resides in the Segmentum Solar and is a major supplier of arms for the Imperial Guard. As a Hive World, Necromunda is home to a Hive City, massive mechanical creations composed of societal levels with such dense populations that each section of the city usually has its own governmental and cultural environment.
Necromunda is a main supplier of the Imperial Army’s weapons. Exploring the industrial landscape of Necromunda would be an excellent experience as each city would bring something unique and give players carrying experiences due to their different politics, exploring the deeper lore of the Warhammer 40k universe.
5
Murder
Home To Unpeakable Horrors
The planet Murder is a dark void in the history of the Imperium of man that has been whispered about in quiet halls throughout the galaxy. Its lore claims it to be a home to the last few surviving creatures called Mechanospiders. The world itself is inconsequential, but the beasts that inhabit it are some of the most gruesome and dangerous in the galaxy.
Only one squad of marines has ever ventured down to the depths of Murder, and none have returned alive. A secret mission where players drop unexpectedly into the hazardous world of Murder and have to face off against giant arachnid xenomorphs would be a challenging surprise.
4
Nocturne
Home World Of The Salamanders
Nocturne is a duel-classified planet that resides in the Ultima Segmentum. Considered a Death World due to its violent climate and hazardous surface that is riddled with volcanoes. However, Nocturne is designated a Fuedal World thanks to its small population of Terrans who have, by some chance, learned to adapt to the planet’s environment.
Nocturne’s moon is the anchor hold for the Prometheus satellite, which is the home base to the beloved Salamander marine chapter. Nocturne would be the perfect choice to fend off a sudden attack from Chaos, with the Salamanders on the frontline and the aid of Captain Titus.
3
Catachan
A Ball Of Fury And Violence
Catachan is a world classified as a Death World and a Jungle World by the Imperium of Man. Possessing one of the most hostile environments known throughout the universe, Catachan’s entire purpose seems to be the extermination of any and all inhabitants.

Warhammer 40K: Strongest Space Marine Chapters
Warhammer 40K has featured a number of space marine chapters, but among them, which are the most powerful?
Plants, beasts, and even the air are extremely deadly to all. A good faction to introduce after the Cadians would be the Catachan Jungle Fighters, the only race of terrans able to survive on the world due to being born there. As one of the fiercest regiments in the Imperial Army, the Jungle Fighters would be a great introduction to face off against orcs or more hordes of Tyranids.
2
The Hollow Sun
Tomb World Of Necron Horrors
With Space Marine hinting at a possible Necron inclusion, fans have been ecstatic at the possibility of diving into the lore of one of the most interesting and dangerous factions in the Warhammer 40k universe. The Hollow Sun is a world in the Jericho Reach of the Ultima Segmentum, as the Crown World to the Necron faction.

The Adeptus Astartes, aka Space Marines, might represent Warhammer 40K’s elite, but some chapters are just plain cursed.
Filled with scientific wonders that are capable of universe-level extinction, The Hollow Sun is a setting that all players will enjoy exploring for the first time. A chance encounter with the Crimson Scythe of the Necron Suhbekhar Dynasty would be an amazing boss fight.
1
Fenris
A Cold World With Deadly Inhabitants
Another world with rich lore for players to sink their teeth into would be Fenris, a Death World covered in frigid ice and snow. Fenris gets its name from Norse mythology and resides in the system of its namesake. It would be an excellent environment for players, with the option of having multiple levels of storms and difficult terrain.
Additionally, with Fenris being home to the Space Wolves, a fan-favorite space marine chapter, it would be a great introduction to the chapter and perhaps a new threat on the horizon. Should Space Marine 3 expand on their game style and venture into an open-world segment, Fenris would make for a low-impact but vast frontier for players to explore.
