One Piece chapter 1144 was absolutely massive in what it set up for the story, and fans are eagerly looking forward to the major battles slowly unfolding. Elbaf has been an absolutely massive arc in the story so far, quite easily enjoying one of the best starts to any arc in the whole series. But, this arc is far from wrapping up, as has been indicated by the recent events of the story.

Immediately after Shamrock Figarland left Elbaf, fans saw Killingham, Sommers, and Gunko unleash their offensive on Elbaf. Their strategy was clear, and it was to attack the children of Elbaf, kidnap them, and take them back to the Holy Land of Marijoa. From there onwards, it is unknown what exactly they wanted. One Piece’s last few chapters saw them make their big moves, creating massive beasts from the imagination of the children, and ripping to shreds everyone who even dared to free the children. The three Holy Knights are certainly a force to be reckoned with.

This, when coupled with the fact that Elbaf also faces a fire because of Loki’s attack, makes things even worse. The Holy Knights are primed and ready to go all out and it is only a matter of time before they engage someone in battle. As it so happens, Oda has already set up their enemies in the Sun World.
An Alliance Is Set Up To Clash With The Threats Posed To Elbaf
The Giants, Scopper Gaban, and Straw Hats Unite
One Piece chapter 1144 was absolutely massive in terms of plot progression, as fans finally got to see the Straw Hat Pirates head to the battlefield. Not all the Straw Hats are there. Fans know that Luffy, Zoro, and Sanji are currently in the Underworld with Loki and the Nea Giant Warrior Pirates. Meanwhile, in the Sun World, there are some Straw Hat Pirates, and with them are Dorry and Brogy, and of course, the legendary figure, Scopper Gaban. It is this group that will inevitably take on the Holy Knights and their creations in combat, and fans absolutely cannot wait to see that happen.

Who Will Defeat The Holy Knights?
As things stand, it seems that Luffy, Zoro, Sanji, Loki, and the New Giant Warrior Pirates will not be involved in his battle at all. They remain in the Underworld and rightly so. If they were to join the fight up above, it would be too one-sided. Instead, the Holy Knights will be faced by Dorry, Brogy, Gaban, and the Straw Hats, such as Jinbe, Nami, Usopp, Robin, Brook, and Chopper. It is this group that will most likely go on to defeat the Holy Knights and their creations, and save the children. This is great, as not only does it give them big moments, but at the same time, it sets up even bigger battles for the Monster Trio later down the line in One Piece’s Elbaf arc.
Fans absolutely cannot wait to see what Oda does will the Monster Trio once the threat of the three Holy Knights is dealt with. At the same time, Loki remains to be a character that Oda will inevitably focus more on in the upcoming chapters as well. Elbaf needs a new and even bigger villain, and Oda will most certainly introduce them sooner rather than later. It could be anyone from the likes of Shamrock Figarland, to even an Elder, or perhaps even an Ancient Weapon such as Uranus. The threats to Elbaf will not stop with the defeat of the Holy Knights and there’s more to come.
