How To Apply For University in InZOI
While younger Zoi’s must attend elementary and high school as part of their development, attending university is an
optional step available exclusively to Young Adult Zoi
‘s. This allows players the freedom to choose whether to pursue higher education or jump into a career based on their gameplay goals.
To apply for university in inZOI, players should
use the smartphone feature
while in a household lot (using the P button or otherwise the purple logo above the bag icon), navigate to the “School” app. Here, players will find the option to select one of the available degree programs regardless of the city they live in. The existing University programmes are Business Administration, Computer Science, and Multimedia Arts.
At the current stage of development, the game does not impose specific admission requirements for any of these programs. These university degrees primarily serve to help Zoi’s enhance certain skills in a more streamlined manner. However, since no career opportunity currently mandates graduation from university, the decision to attend remains a personal choice with limited practical benefits.
Once players choose and click Apply, Zoi’s will automatically enroll into the degree and receive a text message from the university on their smartphones. Their Zoi info, and schedule will automatically reflect the enrollment as well. Since there is no enrollment wait time as of now, this will be an instant activity. Furthermore, there are also no university fees.
How To Go To University in InZOI
The university system in inZOI offers players a semi-structured yet limited approach to education. Once enrolled, your Zoi’s schedule will be automatically updated to include classes three days a week, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. At the designated time, the Zoi will automatically move to the university building to attend classes. However, university life is currently a rabbit hole in the game, meaning players have limited direct control over their Zoi’s activities during class hours.
Despite these limitations, some level of interaction is still possible. By clicking on the Zoi in the sidebar, players can choose specific activities their Zoi will perform,
adding a layer of decision-making to the experience
. Additionally, random occurrences may prompt events that impact the Zoi’s academic performance and mood. Outside of class time, players can access certain actions via the smartphone and relationship panel, though they remain restricted compared to other aspects of gameplay.
Players with multiple Zoi’s in the same household retain full control over those characters during university hours.
How To Perform University Tasks in InZOI
In inZOI, a Zoi’s academic success at university primarily depends on completing tasks, commonly referred to as homework. While attending classes plays a role in maintaining performance and players should be avoiding skipping classes, the primary determinant is how well players manage these assignments. At the end of each university day, the Zoi will receive two tasks with a tight deadline of only a few hours, meaning that players should be prioritizing these as long as the Zoi’s needs are not at an alarmingly low level.

These tasks typically involve using a computer and a bookshelf. Players must ensure their Zoi selects the correct book (for example, an advanced book instead of a beginner one) to read or the appropriate homework option on the computer. Completing these tasks on time improves academic performance, which can be tracked through the School tab on the smartphone. Failing to meet deadlines will result in performance drops, so attention to detail is essential. Otherwise, the tasks and overall process is relatively straightforward.
How To Graduate or Drop Out of University in InZOI
In inZOI, there isn’t a specific deadline or clear in-game indication for university graduation at the moment. Typically, it takes between 8 to 10 in-game days to graduate, depending on the day your Zoi enrolled. Once graduation occurs, the Zoi’s profile will update to reflect a university diploma. However, in its current development stage, it’s unclear whether graduating from university has any direct impact on career performance. Notably, no career path presently requires a relevant degree, unlike real-world scenarios where qualifications often influence job opportunities.
Dropping out of university is possible and can be done manually by clicking the “Drop Out” button in the School tab. Upon doing so, a warning screen will appear, giving players the chance to reconsider their decision. If the player confirms the dropout, the Zoi’s academic performance will reset entirely. Should they decide to reapply for university later, they will need to start from scratch. Given this, dropping out is generally not advisable unless absolutely necessary—for example, to prioritize a career or another opportunity.
Zoi’s cannot have a full-time or part-time career while attending university in inZOI. If players attempt to select a career for their Zoi during university enrollment, the game will automatically drop the Zoi from their academic pursuits, resetting all progress made in their current degree program. In a similar way, enrolling in university while a Zoi is employed will result in them being removed from their job without any prior warning. To avoid this, players should not attempt to enroll a career and university simultaneously.
