As you watch your Zoi living their life in InZoi and no doubt poking and prodding them into certain actions for your own amusement, your Zoi will have their own wants and needs. Aside from ensuring they’re fed, watered, not utterly sleep deprived, and happy, your Zois will also have Urges.

InZoi offering a single base price with no extra costs for DLC during early access is fantastic for fans.
Each Zoi will have different Urges depending on their personalities, taking into account multiple factors. If you want to keep your Zoi happy, then you’ll want to keep fulfilling as many Urges as possible. Here’s what you need to know.
InZoi is in Early Access currently so the content will change over time. We will update this guide as needed in the future.
What Do Urges Do?
Urges are wishes that Zois hope to accomplish that only last for a short period of time. Completing your Zoi’s Urges will earn you Meow Coins to spend in the Meow Store, as well as give them beneficial emotional states.
For example, wanting to paint results in the tranquil emotion if completed, whereas fixing broken items will make them concentrated.
Zois can have up to four active Urges at a time, and they’ll appear above your Zoi’s portrait at the bottom of your screen.
What Causes Urges?
Clicking on an Urge will give you more information about what they hope to accomplish, where the Urge came from, and what benefits you’ll get for completing it.
Urges are the result of a mixture of your chosen Zoi Trait during character creation, which gives them values and specific preferences, as well as values, preferences, and ambitions they’ve formed through performing different actions and making specific choices.
For example, if you make your Zoi paint a lot and they develop a preference for it, they are more likely to have ‘Wants to Paint’ as an Urge. If your Zoi has an Ambition to fix a certain number of objects, repairing a broken object might also appear as an Urge.
You can view your Zoi’s Values from their Zoi card.
For example, my Zoi has the Dreamer Trait, so her ‘Wants to Appreciate Art’ Urge comes from her Trait. Fulfiling this Urge will give her the Concentrated emotion. On the other hand, her ‘Wants to Use Public Bathrooms Properly’ Urge comes from one of her Values, which may or may not be influenced by her Trait.
How To Complete Urges
Some Urges are harder to complete than others, but most are easy enough to do. If your Zoi wants to interact with a certain object, such as singing a song or admiring a piece of artwork, and you don’t have the item already, you can simply purchase and place the required item in Build Mode, then have them use it.
If you don’t have enough money, just click the ‘Use Money Cheat’ option from the Psicat Guide menu.
For Urges that have more to do with probability, such as playing with fire, repairing broken items, or getting into fights, you can increase the likelihood of these happening by going into the ‘Manage City’ option after selecting the City Map from your Smartphone.
From there, you can reduce the Fire Prevention Rate (so fires are more likely), Preventative Maintenance Rate (so things break more easily), and City Safety (so Zois tend to be more violent).
